I'm trying to find the link to the spreadsheet and can't. I have several DISfriends that are going with us that need to sign up. Can someone help me? Thanks.

I had trouble accessing the documents too. The first 4 times I linked it presented a blank document, the last time, the sheet for the rollcall etc. did come up. Then I pasted it here from the 1st page and it says "Sorry, the page (or document) you have requested does not exist." so I don't know what the problem it - if it is you, it is me too.

Just stoping by to say hi. Also welcome to those who are new. I went to Disneyland yesterday and Star Tours was open till about 7 or 8. I was able to get in a ride. Great update. Looking forward to going again.

I used the link provided in the first post of this blog and it worked well. Maybe give that a try.

To all of you planning on seeing the new POC movie - stay until all the credits are over.

The above link didn't work - the link in Post #1 does - up comes a blank sheet - go to the bottom of the page and click the tab for roll call. Voila!

We are in! We were lucky that space became available while we were on the Alaska cruise and we booked ASAP.

We look forward to the FE - we signed up on the spreadsheet - our little boy loved coming back to our room and finding little treats!

We're so excited about this cruise... truthfully, we didn't want to get off the ship when our last cruise ended!

Welcome on board.

Diamond Head Crater
Port of Call: Honolulu, Oahu

Hike from crater floor to top with view of Waikiki

HSP-Park-26.jpg

Location: Off Diamond Head Road Between Makapu'u Avenue and 18th Avenue, Honolulu.

Hours: Daily 6 am to 6 pm, Every day of the year including holidays.

Entrance Fee: $5.00 per car or $1 per person for pedestrians. Commercial vehicles fees: $10.00 cars/vans, $20 mini-buses, $40 buses

The trail to the summit of Le'ahi was built in 1908 as part of O'ahu's coastal defense system. The 0.8 mile hike from trailhead to the summit is steep and strenuous, gaining 560 feet as it ascends from the crater floor. The walk is a glimpse into the geological and military history of Diamond Head. A concrete walkway built to reduce erosion shifts to a natural tuff surface about 0.2 mile up the trail with many switchbacks traversing the steep slope of the crater interior. The ascent continues up steep stairs and through a lighted 225-foot tunnel to enter the Fire Control Station completed in 1911. Built on the summit, the station directed artillery fire from batteries in Waikiki and Fort Ruger outside Diamond Head crater. At the summit, you'll see bunkers and a huge navigational lighthouse built in 1917. The postcard view of the shoreline from Koko Head to Wai'anae is stunning, and during winter, may include passing humpback whales.

Services: Restrooms, vending machines, lunchwagon/food, trash cans, trail, lookouts, interpretive signs, brochure/species list, drinking water, picnic area, bus accessible.

Special Tips: Last entrance to hike the trail is at 4:30 p.m. The gates are locked at 6:00 p.m. daily and all visitors must be out of the park by this time. NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE PARK EXCEPT SERVICE ANIMALS.

The hiking trail to the summit is very steep and uneven in some areas. The last 1/10 of a mile is all stairs and especially steep. The site is accessible to those with disabilities near the visitor booth. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for your hike. Wear good walking shoes, bring water, and wear a hat and sunscreen.

Well, it is 3:15 PST on 5-21 and unless no one in my neighborhood was good enough to be taken in the rapture (I've been watching the sky), I guess they were wrong about the end of the world starting now. That is a relief since DCL finally scheduled a Hawaii cruise.

To all of you planning on seeing the new POC movie - stay until all the credits are over.

Bummer, we just saw it last night. But we're going again soon (next time 3D IMAX), so I'll make sure we stick around. :thumbsup2

Good Evening All.
We booked this on the first day, but I guess I never posted.
I read thru the first 15 pages and then jumped to the end.:goodvibes

Did the online spreadsheet. Anything else?

We are looking forward to the cruise and all the friends.

Did the online spreadsheet. Anything else?

We are looking forward to the cruise and all the friends.

And a late welcome to you as well!!

I just put our info on the spreadsheet. We have a party of 6 with 3 cabins, 1 outside and 2 inside. So happy to have grabbed 3 "cheap" rooms...since there are currently none available. That was a stressful game of cat and mouse last weekend but in the end it worked.

I booked all my rental cars today. I did one for every port but may not use them all just have to wait and see what is out there for SE for Maui and what time the earliest Arizona is. I remember when we did Maui on the Radiance we had a renatal car and there were many people who could not get one. I am going to Pirates On Wednesday but if it is good I might go when I am in Huntsville in July and see it on the Imax.

Wow, we have been so busy. We have so many functions, events and parties right now, and I'm trying to make the most of them before I am tied down with a new baby again. Do you know how hard it is to buy formal dresses for a 7 month pregnant belly
I haven't done any planning at all, you guys are renting cars and planning activities, I feel so out of the loop this time! I really need to start with the OCD planning I am usually so good at! :lmao:

Corinna, Love your rings, very classic, and was that your bouquet I saw, or somebody elses, hmmmm, baby brain.......anyhoo, I love it, just gorgeous with the little pearls and pretty bits. ;)

To everyone posting photo's, keep them coming, LOVE IT!!! :goodvibes Getting me so excited! Although, I suppose I will have to choose the less adventurous shore excursions this time, with a baby :headache:

OK, It's Sunday night here, It all begins again tomorrow, School, Art classes, Jazz classes, violin lessons, Speech & Drama, 1 school sleepover, 1 kids party, 1 gala ball, Lunch with the girls, OBGYN appt, facial appt, etc......OK, they're not all bad things, but does make it busy! :)

I bought 2 guide books but still can't remember the island names!! I do know that it is going to be very difficult to decide what to do in the short times we are on each island. They look stunning. The guide books are full of colour and breathtaking views!

Now Hayley, I think you should not be eating chocolate cheesecake in your condition so I will have your slice!!!!!;);) Thank you!!!

Can you post the recipe? I really fancy some now!!!:lmao:

Hi Maz, It was one of the best cheesecakes ever, I served with fresh berries and whipped cream, Mmmm!

Base
250g Nice biscuits (we use Arnott's brand)
120g butter, melted (the amount you need may vary, depending on the type of biscuits you use)

Filling
375g cream cheese, softened
82g (1/3 cup plus 1 teaspoon) caster sugar
3 large eggs (we use eggs with a minimum weight of 59g)
185g white chocolate, melted
225g (3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons) sour cream
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla essence)

Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius (not fan-forced). If you have a fan-forced oven and are unable to turn the fan off, preheat your oven to 145 degrees Celsius.

Line the base of a 20cm or 21cm diameter springform cake pan with baking paper. Grease or line the side.

Finely crush biscuits in a blender or food processor. Combine crushed biscuits with melted butter and firmly press mixture over the base and side of the prepared pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.

Using a food processor or electric mixer, beat cream cheese with sugar. Stop to scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times. When mixture is smooth, beat in eggs one at a time.

Quickly stir sour cream into melted white chocolate, stirring until smooth. Add to cream cheese mixture along with the vanilla. Beat until ingredients are combined.

Pour filling over biscuit base and bake for about one hour. Leave cheesecake at room temperature for one hour then cover and refrigerate for several hours, or until cold and set.

Alrighty, folks!! The lanyard team is now officially full----I had hoped to get 25 members and we reached 25 members in less than 3 days (or maybe even 2?!?)....you guys are definitely motivated!!

I have already gotten at least one volunteer beyond the 25, as well, who will start the "waiting list" for lanyard team. If you would like to be put on this waiting list....feel free to still PM me (or if I need members later on I'll just put out another call on the board).

This waiting list of folks is still helpful because if someone who is on the team has to pull out for some reason, then I'll add folks who came in after the 25 cut-off. Also, once I start asking people to register for lanyards, it may turn out that we have a really large number of lanyards to order (I'm suspecting this might be the case as big and chatty as this bunch is! :lmao:)...which means that the total cost of the project might be more expensive....if that ends up happening and it feels like it's going to cost each team member more than planned then I might expand the lanyard team to help split the cost some more.

Thanks to all who've joined up...I'll be publishing the list of lanyard team members soon along with directions for how everyone can start signing up for their lanyards!!

E-mailed you :thumbsup2

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

LDL, hope you stay feeling well and busy / happy through the rest of your pregnancy!

Spent 4 hours in the mall yesterday, a place where I rarely go, waiting for the "geek squad" to recover my hard drive from the crashed computer. They were able to and I am happy, never mind the cost that thing was my entire memory! At this age, the brain doesn't seem to hold it very well:confused3

Today, the sun should shine so our big treat will be to go for an ice cream cone!

Happy Day, all!

I gave a Disney Cruise Line party right before we went on the EBTA and Med and as a gift I received a Disney figurine. I don't remember off hand the site I got the info on the party. The figurine is about 8 inches tall and I guess it supposed to be a totem pole. It says Disney Cruise Line Sailing to Alaska in 2011 on the bottom front of the totem pole. On the pole there is Donald, Goofy and Mickey, I was wondering if this was available on the cruise. It is a good size figurine.

I did the Diamond Head crater climb about 20 years ago; it was hard then and I was in great shape. Once my girlfriends and I made it to the top, we exclaimed.......WOW; so worth it.:scared1: Unfortunately, can't do this climb anymore. But totally recommend it to those who are interested.
