I was on that PC cruise and I have a picture of the balloons and sign your family set up. Thank God they did that- it was the only welcome the Wonder got.

I had some of these several years ago. I got them at the Oregon State Fair. They weren't icky or gross and your feet don't get any dirtier than in thongs (flip flops - showing my age), you just don't have any tan lines on the top of your foot. Pretty cool actually.

Our prayers are with all of these people. My DD and I were listening to the news today and they were talking about people searching for family and friends. She commented that times like that make you realize what is really important. The "stuff" can be replaced, but you are desperate for family and friends.

Just popping on to say that I am booked and Kimmy will be joining me again. We are a 10B GTY. Will not be on much due to work (have to pay for this somehow). I am a bit stressed as the last push before the cruise is our annual conference so I will need to have most everything done and ready by March. This trip will be just what the Doctor ordered (litterally since I have my annual physical in April and my blood pressure tends to be a bit high after our conference).

Leaving from port of LA (a quick trip from our house!)
another 15 nighter. (we went on the PC cruise)
The weather will be AMAZING.
Our youngest will be 3 so it's alone time for mommy and daddy!

My best friend & her husband are on this cruise & the 1st one to Alaska.
My daughter & I just got home from the Port of Long Beach/San Pedro. We got to wave goodbye to the Wonder and send her on her way. It got off a little late tonight so not as many people on top - as many where off to dinner. We got to let off our balloons and Wave our Disney Hands. There were other people at the restaurant we were at with Magic Disney Hands from when the Magic was in CA. This time we let off red, yellow and a few green balloons.
Since my husband & I were on the Panama Cruise bringing the Wonder to CA my granddaughters & daughter made the sign and balloons to great the Wonder to California.
I guess you could say we are just the Disney Cruise family, like the rest of you!!!
Have fun greeting & meeting her in San Francisco.

UKAngel, I was thinking of you today during an episode of a TV show called "The Doctors". They addressed how to soothe a sore throat. Here is their concoction:
Sore Throat
Soothe the pain with a throatsicle:
• 1 cup water
• Splash of lemon juice: An antioxidant
• 1 tbsp honey: Fights infection
• Cayenne pepper to taste: Capsaicin blocks pain signals

Mix ingredients together thoroughly, making sure that cayenne pepper spreads evenly throughout the mixture. Pour into a popsicle mold and place in the freezer. Remove when fully frozen and enjoy. This recipe may be modified to fit the size of your popsicle mold.

Hello to all the new cruisers out there. This should be one awesome trip. Sorry I can't shoot up to the bay Sat. It is my floating holiday but I have a big party to attend Sat. afternoon here in L.A. I am going to try and go tomorrow. The flights I want to take are open so we shal see.

If anyone has any tips for sore throats I'd be very grateful......I've been suffering for 3 weeks now and am waiting for throat swab results from the hospital.... ...... Really getting me down now, I've tried sprays, lozenges, gargles etc and am now on the second antibiotic course......

Thanks, you have always been unlucky as the two cruises that we did together were the only two cruises where we had 100 + cabins and I was not able to do individual presents. If we do groups here, I will be able to do this.

Well, the suitcase is packed and the alarm clock will go off shortly. I just have to pack my carry on and then I am ready to head for the airport. Even though the flight is only about half full, I was not able to check in online and still do not have seats. I wonder what this is all about. I will see you all when I get back on May 9th.
