Just popping in to wish you all a wonderful cruise. I know you will be beginning to set off on your vacations soon. I am still so sad we had to cancel and miss sailing with you. You should have a fantastic time.

Hi Marilyn. It's not going to be the same without you on the boat with us. You will surely be missed. But you can live vivaciously, as Karen would say, through us when we post pictures on FB. Look for pictures when we're in port.....May 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. I'll also post some of the CGs pictures on our first port day. So you can look for those, it won't be the same thing as being here....but it's better than nothing at all.

8 Days and counting down.....

FE gifts are packed. Champagne Girls leis and hair flowers are packed. Everyday I'm getting a little bit closer to being ready. I still have a full page of TO DO items on my list, but I'm marking them off little by little.

I have 60 FE gifts so I'll do my group and then I'll do my deck with the remaining ones.

Happy Day Indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is our first cruise as platinum....is there a list somewhere or does it change from cruise to cruise? Thanks. Just FYI -- I cannot access the Castaway Club page...Long story about computer access issues.....

For the MV of the Fantasy you could pick from 3 food items: a fruit tray, chocolates, or a bottle of champagne
Prior to the MV on my other cruises Shrimp platter was an option as well as a cheese platter or champagne. I don't know if the change was for the MV-alot of platinums on board, or a permanent change.
We were also offered some discount on Bingo. I didn't pay much attention to that. I'll look for my letter and see what else it said.

We're getting picked up by a local car service that's driving us to Philadelphia in a sedan. They provide orange juice for us. We're getting picked up at 3:00am on Saturday morning. Our flight is at 6:30am and it takes an hour and a half to get to Philly from my house. I don't mind travelling at these times because I got a great price for the tickets. For two RT tickets to Orange County/John Wayne airport from Philly.....it only cost me a total of $640. I'm not complaining at all.

Well Good Morning Happy Cruisers, As we use to say in the Military, as of today, we are now: one digit's :cool1:, and for Angel & I six days a wake up....on our 1st visit to DL!!! ::yes::....oh, for those counting.....we are on packing #6, but I think this should be it! :lmao:......SOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to this trip!!!

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

We attempted to do an order last night, but discovered when we eventually got to paying that they required the credit card used to be linked to a US zip code. As all our cards are UK based, we had to abandon our trolley in mid-isle :confused3:confused3

send me a pm....we will be at several grocery stores, including Vons, while we are visiting my nephews in Canyon Lake. I plan to finish my FE gifts while we are there.....or if you tell me what you want delivered to the ship, I can put in the order and you can pay me back later, after all we'll have you captive on the Wonder for 15 days!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Love you, Marilyn, and if you make it to Florida again, we'll take you on a pontoon boat in Lake Dora.........:beach:

Makes me feel a little better knowing I am not the only one leaving my house at 3:00 AM on Saturday. :wave2: My DH will be driving me to Charleston which is a 2 hour drive. I mailed one box of FE gifts to the Doubletree yesterday. It was 7 lbs that will NOT be in my suitcase. :) My carryon has the rest of FE gifts and door decorations and Secret Mickey gifts. That one weighs 22.7 lbs!!

This time next week we should be at KCI working thru the TSA!.. Supposed to be in LA about 1230 Noon West Coast time!.. I am very cited!. My oldest son wakes up every morning and askes, "how many more days till Mickey Mouse"... :cool1:

We wanted to get some Banfi, but also if I can find the Enchanted Rose I discovered on the ship as well would be fantastic. It's a sparkling wine as well-a rose.Real name is Abbazia Malvasia Rose. I can't find it back home. Tried to order online from a couple of places, but can't ship to Florida. The places are based in California, so hoping to be able to find it out there. I will get that as my platinum gift and have you try it as well. :thumbsup2
OK. Note is in my "california" suitcase.

The list will be in your stateroom when you arrive - you call room service to order, if I remember correctly.

I'll be riding the teacups in Disneyland!

You and John will be sorely missed!! I was hoping to introduce you to my close friend Nancy. Perhaps on another cruise we will be together again.

 We'll miss you and John, Marilyn. I know I'm going to keep looking for you expecting you to be there :(

When is the scrapbooking class? Seems I didn't write it down and need to share the info with a friend (otherwise I'd just wait for our navigator).

SINGLE DIGIT DANCE DAY!

:cool1:party::cool1:

We are going to be spending 2 nights at the Doubletree and plan to visit a restaurant my daughter saw online a few years ago and we have always had on our "to do" list. It is called Kings Hawaiian Restaurant owned by the company that makes Kings Hawaiian breads. The menu is really intriguing and I think it is just the things to set the mood for the cruise :) it is 10 miles from hotel, but we have our car. I wonder if the hotel shuttle would go there?? My biggest debate is breakfast, lunch or dinner :confused3 maybe 2 out of 3 if good??

Here is a link if anyone wants to check it out:

just looked at bakery menu....new countdown for me ...8 days until we can eat there!!!

Weve ate here a few times. Its very casual and the bakery is full of yummy treats. Dont forget to get some malasadas. They are very yummy and will make you want to hunt you down some when we get to Hawaii. :thumbsup2
