We heard back with a confirmation!! This is what they wrote:
"We are able to book the Palo Private Room for Brunch for you today for May 1st. In order to successfully complete the booking we need the names and reservation numbers for all 14 Guests that will be dining in the Private Room. At this moment I only have your reservation number.
Once you are able to provide this information we will be able to confirm Brunch on May 1st for you.

Thanks...YAY!!!!! Looking forward to "celebrating" with all of you. We can not have more then 14 but do need everyone's information for this reservation to be fully confirmed

Southwest Airlines just sent me an email saying, "your trip is just around the corner." YES it is!!! It made me very happy and excited to see it in an email. I'm flying into SNA, Orange County airport, on Southwest out of Philly on Sat 28th. We're getting picked up in a sedan by a local car service at 3am. Our flight out is at 6:30am. We should arrive in LA at noon-ish. We'll get to the Doubletree by 1pm and check in isn't until 4pm. But we'll pack a bathing suit in our carry on bag and sit by the pool. OR take the shuttle into town and pick up some alcohol and candy until our room is ready. I'm getting more excited everyday.

I got the same email today!!! No changes to our flight either so that is good.

If you have previously responded to me, you can totally ignore the following message. Please be aware that my list only includes those who have contacted me via FB or DISboard, since there were so many changes to the original spreadsheet.

To help Corinna put the mini-Navigator together, I volunteered to help gather information for a couple of sections:

1) Celebrations during the cruise. For this we would need DIS Name, first name(s), date and what is being celebrated.

2) Pages with pre- and post-cruise stays. For this we would need DIS name, first name(s), dates, and where people are staying.

I know there is some information on the DIS spreadsheet, but at this point I don't know how accurate that is, considering all the changes that have been made.

So please contact me if you would like your information to be included in the Hawaiian mini-Navigator. Thank you! (You can PM me if you are more comfortable with that.)

I have been working on our Group Navigator every spare minute that I have recently and it is coming along nicely. I have sent a PM to most organizers that I needed information from and the ones that I am still missing will get a PM shortly. The Navigator is about 75% done and most of what is left to do is dependent on getting confirmation of various things from DCL. So a big thank you to all the organizers that have responded so promptly. You rock!!!

There are still a few gaps that I need to fill and I am hoping to be able to do this sooner rather than later. Here are the things that I need information on:

Whiteboards
I know that it was discussed that two cabins will have whiteboards on their doors for any last minute updates. Have we ever had any volunteers for this? I would need the details of the location of the whiteboards so that I can include this in the Navigator.

Group photo with Hawaiian Shirts
Have we got any idea as to date and time for this and a contact? I assume that this will happen in the Atrium. Again, I would like to add this to the Navigator that as many people as possible will see this.

Pre-cruise Meet Disneyland
I know that people keep asking for this, but I think we need somebody to take ownership of this. I start to think that it is a real shame that I won't be staying at Disneyland before the cruise as I would take this on otherwise. This would not take any work at all beyond determining a time and location and posting this on the DIS. I will make sure that the details are also added to the Navigator. I know that one possible location that was discussed was Grand Californian. I stayed there in September/ October and I would be more than happy to provide some advice about possible locations.

I think this just about covers it.

Daddy turns 92 in July and he is STILL playing gigs a couple nights a week (plays the big bass now rather than the sousaphone)...He is the BOMB!!

OK, now I am curious. What would our names (Corinna and Graham) come out as.



Corinna

graham is easy. it is Old English and means from the gray home. It is also the name of a distinguished Scottish clan with a sugeested maening ofnwarlike.

In Hawaiian, MAKEKAU is warlike and HALE is home ...so from the gray home would be MAI KA HALE 'AHINAHINA.

Sorry, I cannot put thebmacrons over some vowels.

The Hawaiian alphabet has twleve letters...in case younwondered why some of the names were long in a translation. And the vowels are combined and paired along with a variety of pronunciations.

Corinna will be harder as it is not in my book. I'll need to research the meaning and comoare with my very limited knowledge of the language.....make that more like a guess!!!!

Not making anything with THAT stitch at least not right now! I made a swatch of it in a checkerboard pattern and got so frustrated with it I put it away. Currently making reversible baby afghans that are just doubles and chains.

Paper craft is my first love. I actually finished my FE gifts and decided to share them with you
