Wow! I finally caught up. Months ago LindaBabe pointed me over here since we are also going on this cruise (DH, DD and her DH, mother in law and me) I lurked for awhile and then got distracted, I came back registered, lurked and got distracted. I came back today and discovered the thread had grown to 4 sections! I made my way through and am so glad I did. I look forward to seeing all your beautiful shirts, amazing FEs and all the activities you have planned. You have all shared some great info and I look forward to the trip even more-if that's possible-than when we signed up.

I don't care what anyone else says, I'd take Cpt Thord over Cpt Tom any old day. He's more personable in my book and will at least smile naturally. Not to mention wont keep repeating the wrong thing. Least we forget the "brown ****y" (oops, sorry Dis, forgot that word was bad) fiasco. now that one I almost did have an accident.

My favourite Captain will always remain Captain Henry, but we like Captain Thord, too. We had Captain Thord on 3 of our 7 cruises: first Med in 2010, WBTA 2010 and MR 2011. So I was pleased when my friend told me that he would be our Captain for the Hawaii cruise. As to saying the wrong thing, we had a good laugh every day during the Captain's noon announcement on our Mexican Riviera cruise in October. Without fail, every day when Captain Thord shared the details of the position of the ship, he said Disney Magic instead of Disney Wonder. I think it was only too clear where his heart lies.

I like Christian, but I think he's the CD who talks too much when he gets a mike in his hand.

I guess I saw the worst possible side of Christian on the Panama Canal cruise and I cannot tolerate him because of this. He was actually quite nice on the Mexican Riviera cruise, but I will never forget how he behaved towards fellow DISers on the Panama Canal cruise.

This may have been answered, but in the past, they've waived this fee for us. The camera shop is not owned by Disney so they may have different rules, but they've always give us the spiel about charging, especially like on The princess formal shot of the ladies in our formal attire, we covered the front atrium and even up the stairs but they eventually realized not to charge us and as far as I knoww, they haven't charged the dis group for a picture like this. Might want to bend the ear and become friends with the manager to bypass this charge. Just saying....

Certainly do not wish to complicate but a fornal princess shot sounds like a dream!!!

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I'm in for the photo sharing. If Serbian Princess wants to Organize it, MORE power to her! What a herculean task!

Is it possible that we can tag our groups of photos with the event / excursion / location or whatever so they can be searched?

I'm in for photosharing, not sure how organized I will be for tagging.

I am leaving the DSLR lenses and camera at home and taking the new, remind me to learn how to use it, point and shoot camera. DH is taking new dive camera......So we will see, two new cameras and one NEW trip....

For those of you who have sent me PMs asking about ordering cruise shirts, I am sorry but I don't have any more shirts and the manufacturer would not be able to get us any more in time. I suggest you post your request and maybe someone has a shirt they no longer want.

My other suggestion would be to have a tee shirt made or make one yourself using an iron-on, from the design on the shirts. I've been working on a new image of the design that I think works better on a tee then anything else I had put out there.

I can't believe how this cruise is creeping up on me. I have been trying to get organized this weekend.

I had not anticipated quite so many Fish Extender groups. However, this has given me an excuse to get creative again. For the ladies and girls, I have come up with 9 different things, for the boys, I am on 8 at the moment, but I am sure I can come up with a 9th and the men may just end up being short-changed with 7 as I am completely out of ideas there. Men are so difficult to give gifts to. I have ordered the supplies and once they get here, the idea is that I work on one project a day. This is kind of an alternative count down chain.

I have also got my Secret Mickey gifts pretty much sewn up. Now I just have to get the final gift and then I am good to go.

I am hoping that the next week will be like Christmas. My Hawaiian sun dresses have been in the country since Tuesday, but they were only forwarded to customs for clearance on Friday. I am hoping that they will be cleared tomorrow and that I will have them by the middle of the week. We have a special event at work at Friday where we are supposed to come in holiday attire and one of the dresses would be perfect for this. I am also hoping that the shirts and the earrings turn up next week as well.

I wish Clayon would be joining is as ACD. I was his dancing partner on Dancing With THe Crew on the Transatlantic. He made this grandma feel young again and he was so kind.We did BTB that time with the Mediterranean and spent 25 days on the Magic and everytime we saw him he always had the time to stop and talk. When we had one bad day at sea with huge waves and a lot of people getting sick he came and checked to see if my husband and myself were ok.
Then when we went on the 2010 PC and he saw us - again he was very nice to us.

Captain Henry is our favorite. Although we were married at Castaway and Captain Henry didn't perform the ceremony he made sure to find us on the ship to chat. We got some nice little gifts and things signed from him. I also feel the same about Christian and saw a side of him from the 08 Panama Canel EB cruise. Maybe he doesn't like the longer cruises ? I know ALOT of people rave about him so I just bite my tongue. Glad to see it isn't just me.

It was Christmas for me last week. I got my shirts, earrings and final Secret Mickey gift in the mail. It helped me get lot's of things done !

I have found that Walgreens makes tee-shirts, in infant, kid's and adult sizes with photos/images printed on them. I am going to call them tomorrow and see about how we might make the shirt design images available. I only saw white tee-shirts but I'll ask about other colors. I'll also see if they have a probem with Disney images in the photos.

I am not very tech savvy when it comes to things like this.. SOOO.. How do I get the images from your Flicker page and onto say like Zazzle or Walgreens?

I am 5'6"
The bodice of my dress ends just below the bust--empire style (?sp)
The skirt is the length of the segment--no tiers--and goes to my ankles.

Thanks for reminding me about laundry and pictures for my budget!!

Do we think the cost of a photo CD is going to be the same as a 7 day cruise, or do you think it will be more? Does anyone know what they paid for the PC cruises?

Seaulater has worked with them on this on previous cruises, I believe. Maybe she can take this on, or give advice on how to handle it.

Not a problem, I know the manager of Shutters and I'll be glad to talk to her and arrange a group photo. Just let me know time and place. Just remember, before lifeboat drill could be a problem......

Wow, just 6 weeks from today we'll all be boarding the Wonder for a fantastic 15 night cruise! For me it is even more surreal since I won't have the kids with me. I remember the first time Dh and I went on vacation without the kids and we kept commenting on how weird it felt. LOL Now this trip I will be without both my Dh and the kids...I just may be a mess up on deck 10 at the sail away party!

The kids have been a little sad watching me prepare my FE gifts for this cruise knowing they won't be on it! They have no clue they will be boarding the Wonder 3 weeks from today (on Easter!) with me and grandma and grandpa! I plan on doing a scavenger hunt Easter morning to reveal the surprise. I guess I should get started on that!
