Corinna, between you and Cheryl, we will all have the best jewelry on this vacation! :thumbsup2

I have updated all the extended Fish Extender lists.

Corinna

Ouch, 29 cabins to do ...have to come up with a few more things since I planned for 25.... Oh well that is for another week because I really have to stop enjoying all this pre-cruise fun and get my income taxes done!

Corinna thank you for you work on the lists...made proof reading the one I made so easy :cheer2:

I promised ladies I'll not post anymore pictures of earrings, because then they will want more of them LOL....but here are last three pair I bought, together with Mickey Crossbones

I believe you promised me. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: I am glad you did though. I ordered the pirate Mickey earrings. It will be sent with my other order and the champagne earrings. I noticed when I paid for my order she made a cute pair for Cinco De Mayo. I walked away from the computer. So proud of myself. :rotfl2: Besides I can't spend all my money before I get on the ship. ;)

Tina, I'm so sorry I broke my promise....but I didn't post them on FB, someone else did LOL

I didn't even see Cinco De Mayo earrings and i'm glad I didn't.....

Since we will be on Maui on May 5th, I am not tempted by the cinqo De Mayo items. Now if we were at sea.....:dance3:

THANKS DEB FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK :thumbsup2

(and a reminder to all who are attending--the cost of this event is about $20 per person. Deb is charging us $10 each. If anyone wants to plan to bring extra money and contribute a donation as well as their registration fee, those of us checking you in will be glad to accept it and pass it on to Deb with the registration fee so her stateroom bill is not overwhelming. :lovestruc Thanks in advance )

:thumbsup2 I have no problem with chipping in more. Sippers are less right ? :confused3 I am not going to have any of the dry champagne but I am interested in trying the sweet. :) I have never done any tasting on DCL.........one reason for me is I know I couldn't drink all that is offered. :rotfl2:

Well, I joined the board back in 2000, and I had to go look to figure out what the heck you guys were talking about.....shows you how out of the loop I am! :rotfl:

CG earrings are too cute! And i do plan to bring more cash with me, for sure.....and still sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop & DCL saying we need to do the structured tasting like they did on the Magic & are doing on the Fantasy.....but fingers crossed and we will see. Either way it will be fun! :goodvibes
.

Terminal opens at 11. It should take you no longer than 30 min to get from DL to the port. Once on the 5 north it should be only 5 min to the 91 west. Then 15 min to the 110 south, then 10 min later at the port.

You are almost exactly right. I tested this two weeks ago on Sunday morning when I was in Anaheim. I left DL area at 8:00 a.m. and I was at the port in 28 minutes, not quite the 30 you have stated. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (However, I probably drove a little over the speed limit..........:rotfl2:

Thanks for the reminder....

Next of things to do is to get the tip envelopes together as well as onboard activities.

If you need help with the dry....well. I could be convinced to assist...:goodvibes

Fran, you have two options. You can buy an internet package and use it in your stateroom with your iPad, but the connection is often slow or knocks you off a lot. You can go to the Cove Cafe or the Atrium where the signal tends to be stronger. OR you can go to the computer center next to the Promenade Lounge and for a fee you can use their computers. This tends to be a good signal. If you're only going to use it one time, I would suggest the least expensive way of going to the computer center. If you are going to use it more often, for convenience you may want to purchase an internet package. They usually charge X amount of minutes for X amount of dollars. I don't recall what the exact rates are offhand. I hope this helps.

You might be able to use WIFI at the ports of call. ::yes::

Val and Bob - Thank you so much. I just asked DH if he wanted to see his shirt and showed him the picture of the ones in the boxes.

Ok, I showed him the one modeled with such a great view. We cannot wait until it arrives.

Linda -- thanks also for the scrapbook update. I guess I did not realize the size.....I think the ones you did for PC were 8x8..could that have been right? Must go look, either way I am fine. I also like 8.5 x 11. Cutting the pages gives me borders for adjacent pages, more pages that way...FUN....

So who is going to talk me out of getting a pink shirt? I am the one with very little pink in my closet who finally found I had one, but then, I just saw this T-shirt on-line????? And it is my first Champagne girls, so the question is do I want to be cute or pretty.....that's the only clue you get.

Aloha ahiahi = Good Evening.

:cool1: Do whatever makes you happy. If that means spending money--then go for it. Spending money does not make me happy :rotfl: and I have a hot pink polo that I wear a LOT since it and purple are my favorite colors so I am all set with a well loved comfy shirt :lmao:
But
you do what makes you happy

Val - the shirts/pictures look fantastic! Thanks again for doing this!

YES--superb!!:dance3: Thanks so much for ALL YOUR WORK !!:yay:

So sorry for your loss. This will be the second Mother's Day since my Mom passed away. She and my Dad never traveled, they never stepped foot on a plane. The December before she passed she was going to go on a weekend trip to WDW with me and my DH, her first time on a plane. I had Disney shirts made with our names on them to wear, well she ended up in the hospital a month before the trip and couldn't go on the trip. I brought the shirt I had made for her with me on the trip. She passed away 2 months later. Since then every time I travel I take her shirt with me, it's been to the Med, Chicago and of course Florida, and next month it will be with me when I cruise with all of you to Hawaii! So my suggestion to you, if I may, is to bring a little something of your Mom's with you on the trip, it always makes me feel a little closer to her. :cloud9:

Great idea ... I will bring some memento of her with me .. she always wanted to cruise to Hawaii! Sorry to hear that your mom didn't make it to WDW .. My mom came to Disney with me three times. Just not cruising ... guess I waited too long.

Pink Champagne Girls!!
The earrings are available for purchase--they were just listed on Etsy on Hokey Donut.

Got my Reserved order ... I've decided to stop looking ..!

Kirstyn wanted to order a necklace from another vendor, but they won't ship to Canada... Do you think the DoubleTree will accept the order???

We just returned from a 14-night Hawaii cruise (not DCL).

Here are some random thoughts.

  • The days at sea can be very rough. We had rough seas the first 1-1/2 days leaving the west coast, and on the 2 days leaving Hawaii. (Bring something for motion sickness.)
  • The weather on the islands can be unpredictable. We had rain showers on Maui and Kauai. (Pack a jacket or umbrella in your daybag when going ashore.)
  • Port arrival times can vary widely. We arrived an hour early at one port, and two hours late at another. (If you book a private tour, be careful with the timing.)
Otherwise, it is a fantastic cruise and we would do it again.

YMMV

Woody
