I have never booked the excursions online...I have been on the site and can't figure out how it works. Does something new pop up when it opens?

We've never done the Palo High Tea. Do those of you who have done it recommend it? What do they serve? TIA. :flower3:

I don't recommend it unless you love Palo, tea, or scones.

Probably because a lot of the fillings for the sandwiches are mayonnaise based and I hate mayonnaise.

And many of the pastries can be gotten at the Cove for no extra cash.

Scones are OK, nothing really great, but they do come with cream.

We love it. First you get to choose your tea. They have a good selection of teas and infusions. They are served in a proper tea pot with a strainer. Then they bring out a selection of finger sandwiches. Next up are scones with clotted cream and raspberry and strawberry preserves. Then there is a multi-tiered cake stand with all kinds of cakes and the final treat is a trifle.

Here is a link to the relevant post of my trip report from October, that also contains photos of some of the offerings:

Ok, now I'm not quite sure; maybe we'll just be content w/the brunch (which I LOVE).

I'm assuming you have logged in and are paid in full. Go to My Reservations. Lower on the page you will see a link to add activities. It should then show you the days of the cruise. You go to the day you want to add an activity and click on Add Activity. It should be pretty clear-cut from there. Good luck!

And good luck to all the silvers tonight. I hope you get everything you want!

56 minutes? No fair! I have 3 hours. Hey, always wondered how that works. Guess it's by time zones.........booooooooooooooooo

No - you can book in 50 minutes too!

That is the great thing about being West Coast - we get to log on at 9pm our time because it is midnight east coast time.

Just don't log on before me and steal that last brunch now that I've given you the "skinny" :rotfl:

It is midnight Florida time. Those of us out west can book at that same time. We do not have to wait until midnight our time. 44 minutes.

We can all start booking at the same time....in 45 min or so.....then it will be midnight in Florida. It will be 11PM here in Midwest, West Coast friends can book right after their dinner at 9pm :), it will be 5am in UK I think......

The only excursion I am trying for is going to be Wine Country (adult), not sure what time of day it's going out though, I want to be back early.

I want to do the helicopter spectacular, but I am concerned that if we get bad seats, it won't be worth it. It's based on weight and I have a sinking suspicion my DH and I would be the back 2 middle seats, which are the worst two!

And, I am trying for Palo brunch & dinner too!

Good luck to everyone...hope you get the excursions & Palo you want.

Anyone know of a posted list or schedule of on-board activities that Disney has put out yet?

I couldn't find any open brunches. I also really hate the booking system now. Why did they change it to those day boxes where you click "add activity."

Or, am I doing it all wrong?

No brunches nor high teas on any day. Brunch was the only thing we wanted since we are doing all our own excursions. :headache:

There were lots of Palo dinners (for 2) when I logged on, but all gone except for the 29th, 11th, 12th and port nights by the time I logged off.

The following excursions are now sold out:

Big Island
Gourmet Volcano Adventure

Maui
Colors of the Sunset
Halekala Summit Lavender and Winery
Hana Cave Quest
Hana Picnic
Hana Picnic - Adults Only
Kaanapali Golf

Oahu
Haunted Tales
Pearl Harbor Captains Exclusive

Kauai
Tubing the Ditch
Heaven & Earth Helicopter

ME TOO! Couldn't find an open brunch. Got one dinner. Don't worry. The last cruise I went on (7 day western) we met a couple that went to Palo 4 nights in a row. They just kept checking back and always got one due to cancellations. I am hoping that I can do that with brunch cause we have never gone and WOULD LOVE to go!

Good luck to you as well!

Roy

Shutout on brunch. Ratz!

As soon as you get onboard go book Palo. You should not have a problem getting brunch. We have to do that also for our friends that are sailing with us. We are platinum and have ours booked, but could not get them with us.
