Secret Mickey

If you have ever participated in Secret Santa, then you have a good idea what this is about. You will be allocated a family or an individual and it is then your task to spoil them rotten during the cruise. The budget for this is $25 to $30. This does not have to be anything faqncy. During the cruise, you should drop a little something off for your Secret Mickey 2 or 3 times. This can be a note, some candy, a souvenir, a magnet, etc. On the last sea day there will be a reveal session and during this, you should give your Secret Mickey a slightly bigger present.

You can sign up for Secret Mickey through the following links:

Invidual

Groups, couples, families (up to 4 people)

Even if you had already filled out the spreadsheet, can you please fill out the form as I will delete the Secret Mickey tab on the spreadsheet shortly. A big thank you goes to Stephanie (Brooklyn for pointing me in the right direction)

This week, I will start to PM people who were on the original list, but have not filled out the form. I would appreciate it if you can save me some time by filling out the relevant form.

Each group will have a maximum of 6 participants, but I am happy to offer each workshop more than once if the demand is there. All workshops are suitable for beginners. Adult workshops will take place in the Outlook Cafe and Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops will take place in the Promenade Lounge.

If you are interested in any of the workshops please send me a PM with the workshop or workshops you are interested in and for the Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops the name and the age of the participant. Also, now that you have had the chance to see the prototypes, could you let me know which theme you would like to do for the bracelet.

At this stage this is just an informal sign up and I will take sign ups until 6 weeks ahead of the cruise.

A little late since I just got back from WDW:

We set sail in 15 weeks! That's 105 days!

Ok after tearing my hair out all weekend trying to figure out the original spreadsheet to find out who wanted to participate in FE ive given up LOL
There were many lines without dis names and alot of maybes and people who had dropped off cruise. Dolphingirl came to my rescue and were working on a new spreadsheet so below is a link to fill in ALL info so we can get a correct count.
I am thinking of a cut off date of march 15th?? Im going with the majority for groups of 20-25 depending on final numbers. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDJxSC15VVgzdkNLZ3dJQmxUR1luQmc6MQ

I filled out mine. Just wanted you to note that I am sharing a cabin with someone and we are doing seperate FE. There will be a pocket with her name and a pocket with my name. :) ( Just so when you get her form and see the same cabin number )

Thank you...still have hope to book them on 30th! :cool1:

:thumbsup2

Definitely space on the Luau, we were trying to get the Hana cave quest but it would show availability but then I couldn't save it so we booked the Luau instead. I tried for the caves one more time and was told be I had a conflict with the Luau so I canceled it thinking great we will do the caves instead and it still would not let me save and brought some strange "todo conflict" up on the screen so I was stressing that not we wouldn't even get to do the Luau since I cancelled it but had no problem rebooking for the 7 of us. Eventually the cave quest came up as no longer available. DCL website is definitely no the best :)

Try calling DCL and see if they can book the excursion you want. Might be just a glitch in the system.

Jason and I just submitted our info :)

On an unrelated (and yet similar) note. I've been trying to keep the lanyard list as up to date as possible as more and more new requests, cancellations and changes have trickled in. As of now there are nearly 275 of us on the list so far :cool1:

Wow that's alot. Has it be decided yet when and where we will meet to get lanyards ? When I was on the repo the girl in charge put the lanyards in manilla envelopes and put everything in order by cabin number. It seemed to make the process of passing out easier. :goodvibes

Thanks, I will make a note of that. The irony is that I am normally a night owl, but the huge difference in time zones turns me into an early bird.

That would be a great help. I have made a note of this.

Corinna

I am normally an early bird, probaly will be up even earlier till I get used to time zone.

You can use the 12 x 12 scrapbook you get from the class and cover it with the fabric and you won't need to buy one.

Awesome idea.....of course I never manage a long cruise fitting in one album :). Do you know if you are going to do postbound or 3 ring?

Thank you -- I will Prime Time Shuttle a look-see. We also need to get back to the airport on the 14th to pick up a rental car for our week at Disneyland, so maybe they'll consider it a round-trip and give us a break on the price.

BethK

Where are you staying at Disneyland?

Two days ago I booked our transportation from LAX to DoubleTree and from Port to hotel where we are staying after our cruise (at LAX). I called Super Shuttle and they got me pretty good price with their ExecuCar. They will pick us up with mini-van, it's not a shared ride. Price I got for a ride from LAX to DoubleTree for family of 4 is $55 and from Port to hotel at LAX $61.

Juat filled out our On Line Check -In When it came to arrival time at the port I did not know what to put in because we have the Disney transfers. I called and they said that we would be picked up at noon. We are at Paradise Pier. Maybe this info will help someone

Guess it isn't going to let me do the check in online until we have open time for booking excursions on the 30th..........:confused3

Good luck to those booking excursions tonight...

Thanks for the Good Luck Elaine .. it worked!

Here is what we got ...

Hilo - Waves & Waterfalls
Maui - Halakeala Crater - Adults only and Old Lahaina Luau
Honolulu - Pearl Harbor VIP Military Base Tour and Oahu Haunted Tales Tour
Nawiliwili - (Don't Laugh) - Popua Beach Surfing Lessons
Ensenada - Tastes of Mexico

Palos Brunch on May 11 (Closest I could get to Mother's Day!

The Surfing Lessons is our incentive to do good ... I start Weight Watchers tomorrow, so everyone wish me luck ... Hoping to lose at least 25 pounds by the time we go ... thats a pound and a half a week. The really scary part is that the last session is the week we get back from the cruise ... Do I weigh in or not :confused3

Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama: George Clooney for The Descendants
The Descendants won best picture also. I can't wait till I see this film in a couple of weeks !!!! :woohoo: It has nothing to do with the fact that it was filmed in Hawaii & one of the excursions where I will have lunch is where George Clooney was. :rolleyes1 Yeah who am I kidding ? :rotfl2:

Our GTY has been changed to room 7126. We have just (re) signed up for the FE with our room number, but we need to change our Secret Mickey and Roll Call information. Should we redo our Secret Mickey or can someone make the change for us?

JohnGar (John) and LauraGar (Laura) are now in 7126.

Please make a note of it.

We are in the lucky group that does not have to be PIF until February 14th and DH reckons that he rather has the money earn interest for us then for DCL. He has a point. However, I absolutely hated not getting on the ship until nearly 2 PM in October and I was worried this would happen again as by the time we are PIF, I thought all the earlier arrival times would be taken. I decided to log into the website a little while ago and it let me do the online check in and select the arrival time.

Can you please explain to me how your PIF date is Feb. 14? And how were you able to complete your online check-in WITHOUT being PIF? I didn't that was possible.

I am curious too because I am PIF and it won't let me do it yet since I am only a silver.

Where are you staying at Disneyland?

Worldmark Anaheim -- first time for us. We haven't been to DL in several years -- I think the last time was when we ran into Scott and Lynn at CA Adventure -- they might remember when that was -- I think they were there for a marathon. I know it seems like forever to me, since Disneyland is my favorite park, but Harry loves WDW so we go there more ofter the last few years.
