If you go to the Palo reservations under "all days" to check availability, the schedule says the pirate deck party is May 11th.

I wish they listed the formal nights as well. Does anyone know when they will be? I don't want to be in Palo on the night they're serving lobster in the MDR.

I have been on cruises where they changed the formal nights based on sea conditions Guess rough sea, women in heels and men in slick soled dress shoes are a dangerous combination......

A few catch-ups...
This is the Hawaiian book of names that I have.
I like it because it translates the actual meaning of the name to the closest meaning in Hawaiian. It is not a letter for letter translation.
We brought this back from one of our trips and I do enjoy it.

A brief update on our Champagne Girls

Val, sorry to hear you had to be out of pocket for more fabric because of the layout!! Would it work to offset that (AND postage rates going up) if we all just sent an additional 10% (or other amt)?? Seems like that would be the easiest way to handle some of those extras. Or, alternately, we can all buy you a drink on board!!

When I was on the Dream in Nov, the 10% was not being applied - only the 25.00 of each purchase of 100.00. If a single purchase was over 100 you 25.00 off. This kinda sucked because I purchased a bracelet on a different cruise that was 225 and only got 25.00 off - the vendor (not from the cruiseline) would not split the charges up for me so I could get 50.00
RSP = random selection process.
The RSP closed on Feb 14...sorry.
Ummm - I think 2 years ago - I got a letter in my cabin describing it - they are still tweeking it, the 10% seems to come and go - I didn't get it on the first of my B2B2B cruises, did on the second and not on the third...bizarre - but that is the Disney way, right??

My travel agent has informed me that the formal night is on night 2 and the semiformal nights are on the 12th and 14th nights.

I haven't been on a cruise this long on DCL, but based on other cruiseline there typically is 2 formal nights for cruises this long. For anyone that has done a longer cruise with DCL, do they only have a single formal night?

I have to agree. We are traveling with friends one of which is a CM and they don't even get their discount. To me it's worth no discount to avoid the craziness in the store. We will see what the better half says. I hope they do the same with the pins so we do not have to wait in line for hours for them.

Just off the WONDER and talked with my friend who is officer of merchandise; wrist bands will be given out so not as to repeat PC frenzy. Yeah
