Since we are getting closer to our cruise, I need to put a rooming list together for our hotel stay at the DoubleTree at San Pedro. I need to have everyone's full name; address; type of bed (2 double, king etc); and dates of arrival. Please either PM me @ mickeymom923 or send me an email to Bweiss923@aol.com

I'm also planning to have a "Minnie Meet" at 8 pm in the lobby area towards the bar on 4/28. Please let me know how many are planning on meeting. I just need an approximate number. Of course, everyone is invited to come to our "Minnie Meet".

Can't wait to meet everyone. Let the party begin.

I'm so excited....I was just at the website and tried doing Palo dinner again and I got it. There were more openings. I checked all days and it showed me everything. I got it for 7:30pm on a sea day heading back. I'm happy now.

Guess it does pay to check back once in a while to see what has changed.

They do have puka dogs at other ports. We have had them at the original shop on Kauki, it is near Poipu. YUM

Sorry you won't be joining us on the sub scooter but you won't want to miss Pearl Harbor, it is very special. The Missouri is very interesting too.

I looked on the Puka site and only saw them in Kauai & Oahu. Looks like the one in Kauai is 45 min. from port and the one in Oahu is 30 min. from Pearl Harbor. I could be wrong.......I have never been to Hawaii before. Hope to see you on the ship and hear all about your time on the sub scooter. I am writing this info. down if I make it to Hawaii again.

It sure does pay to check. I read this post as well, and I checked for Palo High Tea...wouldn't you know...I was able to book my DH and I for 3pm on our first sea day on the way back. Woohoo! Soo excited, this was the one thing that I wanted to do but couldn't book.

I have to say that I love this forum! Everyone has been very helpful with sharing ideas and great things that they find!

My DH has handed over the planning of this trip to me (which is a big deal) because of all the great ideas, tips, hints, and deals that all of you have shared with me. Also, I won't have to break the bank to do it!

I am platinum and on a previous cruise I assumed I get a dinner and waited until I was on the ship to make my reservation. I was told nothing was available as they take the paying guests first so I never did get the Palo's dinner.

Medical update. My cat scan was normal so the gland is not enlarged.Have not noticed any improvement yet in my eyes but was told it may take a couple of weeks.I sure hope so

I missed it also. I hate having to look at every day, I wish you could pick an activity, like brunch, tea, or dinner, and have it tell you the available times.

Yep - get off at stop #4 (Cheesecake Factory, 2301 Kalakaua Ave) - Waikiki Town Center is at 2330 Kalakaua Ave

We are still crossing our fingers that we can cruise....a long story about work related issues........but meanwhile, I think everyone will be so pleased with the one of a kind pattern.......

I'll be glad to try to answer questions, not a great seamstress but I will try.

Keep trying .... don't give up. It keeps changing every day. There is one choice where you can search all days, you don't have to do each one individually. Not sure if you were using that or not. Just an FYI.

You don't have to look at every day. There is one choice that offers Palo anything on anyday and you click that. It looks for everything available at Palo for each day of the cruise in one click. Then everything that's available comes up.

First you have to sign in with your reservation number. When you get to the day by day activities click on a day and tell it to add activities. Look for Palo on that day, if none are available, click in the top left corner that says look for another day. Then look all the way left before the first day and it will ask you to look for everyday. Click on that. Good Luck!
