Are any adults dressing up for the pirate night? I have a costume for DS but not for us adults. I thought I'd get an eye patch and that's about it. LOL.

We're not dressing up in any sort of pirate gear. I just picked out a striped sweater to wear with white capris, and DH has a Mickey "Hawaiian" shirt with anchors. That's as close as it gets for us!


I'm so ready to go!!

Packed and waiting for two and a half more days of work to pass! We're hitting the road Fri evening. Can't wait!!

My family and I will be on this sailing! I am so over-the-moon excited!!!!! And, um, alittle overwhelmed! This is our first cruise EVER! I wish I had discovered the DIS boards way before now... I would have loved to join in on the FE bit... but now I know for the future!

I'm almost finished packing - just a few more items.

We still don't have our Nassau shore excursion decided and I'm a little worried about that. I really want to take a cab over to the fish fry but DH doesn't eat seafood so he has no intentions of doing that. It probably isn't the best idea with a 3 year old anyway. I'm pretty sure we are doing the Sheraton day pass.

DS is super excited but I don't think he quite understands what we are doing. I've shown him pictures and videos of the ship but I still think he'll just be blown away.

I will be watching you all sail away on the port canaveral webcam, safe travels to everyone! Jennifer and Logun are enjoying their time at port orleans french quarter, parks are kinda crowded from what they have told me, more so then I would have thought for this time of year. after being so involved on all the planning for Jennifer and Logun I dont know if I can wait till march break for my cruise, it seems sooo far away. We may just end up doing an august cruise this summer after all! Will wait and see if I can get a gvt in June and if so will book it then, once the due dates are past. Keeping my fingers crossed even dh says march is to far off we need to go sooner!

We are packed and ready to leave for the port in the AM! Can not WAIT! We will have magnets on our doors, too. The idea of a dry erase board is a good one, I have to look around and see if I have one. Saw that the weather is to be a little iffy our day at Castaway Cay- really hoping it blows over! The time has come. I've decided just drive and park at the port, mainly because once we get back. I'm sure I'm gonna want to just hit I-95 and go home
There was a Mickey magnet at downtown disney that I WISH I had gotten, but didn't. I'm hoping they have it on the boat, but if not. No worries. We at least will have our FE. Anyways, hope to see you all on the boat

I so enjoyed my trip. But at the same time, I am a bit GLAD to be home in my own little space I had a blast!! Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts. I'm not sure if I got gifts from everyone or not, since some weren't marked. I'm thinking I will figure it out later, once everyone posts

Thank you everyone for the FE gifts! It was so nice to get back to our room and have surprises waiting for us.

Leilani - the frame that came towards the end of the cruise was from me. DD tore into the tissue paper that I had wrapped it in, so I just put a sticky note from your door on it with my dis name.

The girls had a blast even though the weather wasn't too great. Our Nassau excursion was cancelled, but that gave us some time to try the AquaDuck with a short line.

We rebooked for Halloween of 2013. I can't wait! Did anyone else rebook?

We didn't rebook, but will definitely in the future. I want to finish up graduate school and see what lies ahead for me, work wise, before I look into rebooking. We however had a blast and I'm ready to go back
It was more fun than I expected.

We had a wonderful cruise! Although the rain was a bummer on Nassau day we made the best of it and really the weather turned in our favor after that. The weather was nice for the sail away party, the rest of Castaway Cay day and the pirate party and was blistering sunny and hot for our day at sea. It certainly could've been a bust for the whole trip so we are thankful for the beautiful weather we did get to enjoy!

Thanks all so much for your lovely, cute and clever FE gifts. The chocolate bars and bubbles were from us. The girls absolutely LOVED coming back to the cabin to see what surprises they got and we had so much fun finding everyone's cabins and delivering our gifts. I think it was even more fun than the mid-ship detective agency because we really made a treasure hunt out of finding everyone's cabins and FE's. Thanks again to all for making this part of the cruise a highlight of our trip! We loved your gifts and the time and thoughtfulness every one put in to it
