April 29, 2012 4 night Bahamas Dream

Only FOUR more weeks to go :)

Is anyone else coming down a few days earlier? What do you plan on doing?

We are coming down that Friday and I'm trying to figure out what we should do that Saturday. When we get there, we are going to go to Downtown Disney. Saturday, I'm going back and forth on what to do. I was thinking of taking him to Islands of Adventures, but not sure if it will be a waste of money or if we should go or not, since he's only 5.

What plans do you guys have?

We're staying at CBR Friday and Saturday nights. We fly in early Friday and our plans are to go to Downtown Disney and then relax by the pool. Saturday we hit Magic Kingdom for the day.
I finished FE gifts yesterday and have a little left to do on the FE itself. Almost time to start packing-I can't believe we're this close!:woohoo:

I've been watching the Port Canaveral webcam also. I get goosebumps! :):):boat::boat::boat:

Thanks and hope everyone had a Happy Easter too! Can't believe we are getting so close now! :boat:

WooHoo! :goodvibes

I counted Toodles Mouse's in laws, as that was the info I have for her, I do not ave their names or stateroom though.

Gahh! Sorry for the confusion, that was my fault. No need to include my in-laws, just my niece if you could, as she is staying with us, even though they are there as well, if that makes sense. Sorry!

I hope you guys had a Happy Easter as well :)

I can't believe we have 20 days left until we board the Disney Dream. I'm so excited. I have completed all my FE gifts and placed them in my suitcase. I'm thinking I may be bringing two suitcases now just for me, because I don't think my one big one will hold everything :/ My son will have his, but I was just going to bring one big one, but my FE gifts take up about 1/4 of the suitcase. We shall see :)

So, this is mine and my son's first time on the Disney Dream and my first time going alone as an adult. Do you guys bring stuff for the CM as incentives? If so, what do you bring? Thanks in advance!

Hi, guys! Mind if we hop aboard? It's our first cruise, and my first time on disboards. We will be sailing the 29th with my folks and our 3-year-old twins. I am a former CM and my husband does music production for Disney so he has spent a lot of time on the ships when they are at port. We are all really looking forward to our first cruise and learning the ropes!

Welcome LinzTwinz! :welcome:

Glad to have you onboard! We are counting down the days now with anticipation...we have been waiting two years for this cruise and we are pumped up! :cool1:

Toodles Mouse - No worries...I counted your in-laws as well so maybe your niece can share her FE gifts with them, (if she wants) I will put theirs in your niece's pocket, it's all good! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone!! :goodvibes Now only 19 days:cool1:.

I need this break we are in the middle of selling our house and buying a new one, never thought the cruise would be in the middle of it all.

My FE's are just about put together. I am thinking of shipping them to the hotel we are staying at the night before. Has anyone ever done that?? I am not comfortable sending my box to the ship.

I'm so ready for this vacation as well :) I just can't wait. I finally got my documents today. Yay!

Do any of you guys tip other people on the cruise with eatable products (the individuals who are unable to take cash tips)?

I tried to get that reservation but its not available online. Maybe I will call.

BTW - I am going to bring candy to tip the CM's who cant accept tips.

Thanks :)
I think I will pick up some gum/mints maybe candy too. Something that's not too heavy and won't take up too much of my suitcase.

Doing the Happy Dance, I am finishing my FE as I type this :) I am so excited!!

My Bro and Sis in law just got back and told me there is a 5k on Castaway Cay, anyone want to run it with me?

Anybody else doing the shallow water dolphin experience at Atlantis? We are going to give it a shot. I think the girls will love it if they are not totally sleep deprived by then!

Also... I would like to bring some little gifts for the folks who work in the Oceaneers Club (where I am HOPING that the kids will spend many blissful hours)- but how many? Any guess as to how many workers we will need to tip in there? I know they can't take cash, but I thought they might like iTunes gift cards.
