Hi. We have another 5 year old. My friend and her five year old will be joining us. So we have a party of 3 adults and 3 five year olds.

We would love to do the meet, but we have an appointment with the Mickey pool right after lunch. Would anyone consider meeting a little closer to the Mickey pool? I know that it will be crowded, but the kids are so excited to get swimming. This time we are even trying to skip the lunch and hoping Pinochios will be open to grab pizza, so they can try to beat the rush to Mickey. Another option is to have an impropmtu meeting for all of the 5 year olds down at the kids club. We usually head over their early evening so the kids can get a little used to it before dinner.

Can you tell who was the leading factor in taking another cruise? The kids have their own agenda. I really didn't think we would ever take another cruise after our very first cruise, it was nice, but I didn't think it was wonderful. Once we got home, that was all the kids talked about, so we gave it another try and now we are on our 3rd cruise and looking very forward to it.

We have 16 & 14 Boys, and 15 & 11 Girls in our group, plus us 2 adults. They will be most likely in the teen club and the kids club.

Myself, DH and my nearly 5 yo DD (4 yrs 7 mos to be exact, lol) will be going on our first Disney Cruise.

Sounds like DD will have plenty of little buddies her age to hang with at the kids' club.

I'll keep checking back in here as the time draws closer............only 19 more days left!!!

Its getting so close!!

This is a second cruise for Lisa and I, and a first for the kids.

My kids still don't know we are going and I can't wait! We got our docs yesterday, our embroided pillowcases came in yesterday as well! We ordered snorkels from Snorkel Bob's which shipped today. We are still waiting for our passports although I was told last week to expect them this Friday!

My family plans to get to port around 10:15 - 10:30. We are staying at the Hyatt the night before and taking Happy Limo (a 10 passenger van).

After getting on the ship we plan on letting the kids hit the pool. It will probably be the only time they use it, if its as crowded as everyone says it will be.

We would like to meet up close to Mickey's Pool too if thats good with everyone else.

We are flying in the day before and staying at POP Century. Plan to go to DD that night. Kids have appts at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, then go to hoop do doo revue at 930.

Get up in AM and drive to the port early, Possilby look around at some shops and arrive between 10-11 at port.

after cruise,we are going to kennedy space center, then to wdw at Port Orleans French Quarter until sat afternoon, trying to do wdw in those last couple days.

it will be busy!!

my first post to the dis boards! so forgive me that i don't have all the bells and whistles goin on yet...

i'm a veteran of *other* boards (gasp) but this is also going to be our first cruise

we are me, ex dh and dd (6) - yes yes, weird that divorced parents going on cruise with kid... but not for us - we are unconventional and its a rather long story

exDH is from UK and i predict will be fretting that there is no decent beer on board... otherwise this whole thing is his idea and he is as excited as DD!

we are staying at the radisson the night before and hope to plunk dd into mickey pool upon boarding! See you there ?!?

From the cruise we will go to kennedy space center and then 2 nights at coronado springs to use up some left over water park passes from a previous WDW trip... this trip is a last minute 'mothers day' gift from exDH - i'm a lucky chick...

We are also flying in the day before and staying at the Radisson at the port. Then the next day hoping to be at the Disney port just after 10. Looking forward to meeting you all at the Mickey Pool!!!!!!!!

Well all the passports just arrived EXCEPT my 5 year olds.After being on hold a long time a very nice woman explained to me what happened. Just an oversight from when I called last week. They forgot to add the passport locator number when they linked them all to come together. She said I should get it this week and to call back Friday to make sure its been mailed. Although it still hasn't been full processed yet.

I really wanted to go to WDW before our cruise but we couldn't do it this time. We are going direct from port though to the MK for a 1/2 day. We were thinking of the Kennedy Space Center but it seemed awfully expensive(we are AP holders so going to MK is free). Is there any good discounts on it? My DH really wants to go. We travel to FL at least once a year so maybe next trip.

My daughter was happy to know that there will be teens her age on board ...sounds like you have a great Disney vacation planned...lately it hasn't been to busy at the parks...we live about 20 minutes away..hopefully it won't be to crowded for you when you are there!! my husband wants to get to the port early too..maybe see you there...Renee

What a beautiful family! Looking forward to meeting you and everyone else. Getting super excited now - we leave at o'dark thirty on Tuesday morning to drive to Denver and catch a 6:30 flight. I think we get into Orlando at about 1:00 and are staying two nights at Shades of Green before moving to the GF on Thursday and starting the Land / Sea pkg.

I would post pics, but I don't have a clue how. All our pics are stored on DH's computer, so I might get on a little later and play around. I think there are instructions in the FAQ. Any quick tips, HLester?
