Now we should talk about getting together to meet each other. We need to help MMkeeteer's roll over the hill! Opps! Did I say that? LOL!

Oh brother! LOL! Okay, yeah SDtink I think that's a great idea. I honestly haven't even started learning the layout of the ship yet (I gotta get that darn FE thing finished first- maybe by tomorrow it'll be done and finishing buying stuff.) I don't know if we want to make it an adult thing or a family thing or both? I personally will probably be staying on board for Nassau and probably for CC too. So I am open to suggestions. It'll be all about the ship for me for this cruise.

Hey I just saw on my bank statement that I got a seven dollar and some odd cent refund from DCL. Wahoo! Now, I have more money to put towards the FE gifts.

I am game for meeting up, I will not be doing excursions in Nassau just pirate museum and maybe cable beach or boat. Castaway I will be on the beach, going to put kids in camp and we are wandering over to adult side for a bit too

It would be nice to say hi to everyone in person. So I am up for whatever you decide.

On the disney european last year they met in cove cafe and there was another meeting in the promenade lounge. I know the dream is different though.

LOL! No kidding DizzylandDeb. The suspense is starting to stress me out. I am hoping by Monday I'll get assigned something. I don't think I can handle waiting until the 30 day mark. LOL!

For the meet and greet, I think everyone will be busy trying to get onboard before the mustard drill, getting their heads wrapped around the new ship, re-arranging dining assignments or making spa treatments etc. to get together that first day. Unless, we want to make it an after hours event later in the evening. Otherwise, my suggestion is to do it on our Nassau day. I know everyone will be busy on the day we are in Castaway (except me, I'll probably just stay onboard). So, what do ya'll think for what day to meet up?

I took the easy way out and purchased my FE on eBay! I figured by the time I bought all the supplies I would spend more than the $20 for the one I purchased on eBay. Have we come up with a final list of names? Was not sure if it changed from the last PM I received. Anyone looking for anything in particular from Disney...I am in Cali for a few weeks and will be visiting the Company D store while here. Think I might find some small items for the FE while here.

Nope, I think the list is final and the PM you got should be correct. Oh how I miss Company D! My favorite buy from there are hubby's hat's and the neon green Mickey head luggage tags that say, "Company D" that to this day I still have on my luggage- I have had these things for at least 10 years now. I use to also pick up writing pens and trinkets to give the CM's onboard the Disney ships as little thank you gifts. Because they usually have a unique Disney logo that they can't get onboard. I am a bit jealous, but have fun in Cali.!

Mmketeer you did a wonderful job on your FE! It will look great outside your door. Everyone don't forget to bring a couple of zip ties to secure your FE so it doesn't disappear! I bought another backpack today. Instead of rolling carry on bags we are using backpacks this time so we can have hands free for kid control!

Hi everyone, just come back from a weekend in ireland and managed to pick up one or two little things from "home" for the fish extender....so everyone will have a bit of the emerald isle in their FE's. Im so glad to have made a start at last

LOVE your FE MM, you couldve taken orders. Ive caved and bought a one from ebay too, but I am going to personalise it

Time is flying fast now, even got the hubby to pull the cases down from the loft eventually!!!

OOOpppss....it may have been...the lady I purchased from has about 5-6 different ones posted...hope you found another one! Time is flying by...thinking about which cruise I want to book for the next DCL.

My wife is getting Lasik eye op next week...she is so looking forward to not having to worry about removing contacts and going in the ocean! Anyone else have Lasik done on their eyes? How long is the recovery?

: Also keeping this cruise a secret from my daughter is driving me crazy...especially when ever a DCL commercial comes on TV...she begs me to go!!!

Last item...anyone else belong to D23 and get the magazines...they did a nice article on the Dream.:

Thought that might look better than a pillow case or t shirt.

I hear ya about the secret! It could be a great bargining tool but I would rather see their faces. My 2 boys have been collecting spare change for years to save up for this trip. I keep telling them they need to save more at this rate it is going to take 10 years!

No I was bidding on someone who only had 2 and they were listed as hanging organizers.

Really? Dang Company D has really expanded. Use to they just offered that kind of stuff at Property Control- which had alot of great big ticket items. I think the Vinylmation is a great idea! Have fun in Cali!

Well, I got my cabin number and I did not luck out and get cabin numbers: 8008, 8506, 7008, 7506, 6008 or 6506 normal cabins. Oh no, I got a freakin handicapped cabin with a tiny window on the very back of the ship. I am gonna call them tomorrow, but with the ship being sold out I am sure I am pretty much probably stuck with this. Happy Birthday to me...thanks DCL.
