I am going to go to pirate museum and maybe cable beach, if not just relax by the pool and take my entourage on the aqua duck so happy they lowered the height so I don't have to sneak my boys on and leave daughter to the mickey slide

Anyone else on the 4/28 looking to possibly split the price on a private Cabana on Castaway Cay? I think they are 500-600...so a 250-300 split sounds good. Our group is a total of 3...so we need another small group of 3-4.

I am not in a concierge room so we will have to attempt to book once on board.

Some people want to try and start picking things up for this, and knowing the numbers we need, and kids ages will be a great help

Dizneycrazee, are you gonna PM all of us with the list for all the cabins and who's sailing? I know I am behind on buying stuff. Oh and how do we do this? Do we pick a cabin and just buy for them or do we buy stuff for everyone doing the FE? Sorry, I have never done this before. And I am starting to feel bad that I participating, cause I don't have kids. I hope I was asked to join cause' it was my birthday, but I am starting to think based on reaserch posts from other threads that this is just suppose to be for kids. HELP!

We, too, are not in a concierge, but would love to split a private family cabana. We are a family of three, with a 5 year old. Let me know, if you want to put a plan in place.

I have read on other threads that adult only rooms do participate. I think I am doing 1 bag of goodies per person 1 night. It's our first time too, don't want to put too much on my plate doing something small everynight. I just am waiting for the room totals to get everything

For the FE's I have stuff to give out all 3 days. I have stuff for kids as well as adults. That's just me though! I'm just having fun with it! I love to give and make people happy. All I look for in return is a happy smile! That makes my day! I'm ok with whatever everyone else does! Just go for it and have fun!

Will there be a deadline to join the FE?

Ok

Everyone wants to know how many they need to buy/make for regarding the fish extender. So we need to make a deadline folks, tommorrow seems good as it has been going on forever and a day.

Just a couple of questions before I send out the list to everyone involved.

Unless you WANT to do more,(think it was SDtink who said she had enough for a little everyday) I will give a dedicated day to deliver your gifts. There are probably gonna be two people delivering each day as its not such a long cruise sad1 No delivery on the last morning as your FE will be packed away in your cases.

Newjerseymomma - do you want to count your two cabins seperately or together ie you make two deliveries in return? Sd Tink has two cabins but has already said she is delivering quite a bit: thumbsup2

One last thing, which cropped up in a previous exchange I participated in- if anyone has allergies, or would be offended by anything in particular (alcohol gifts etc) please pm me with details.

Okey Dokey, I have the list ready, except for phototech11, who hasnt pm'd me as yet.

Not long now - eeeeek- 48days for me to fly!!

Oh thanks so much for taken this on Dizneycrazee and mentioning the allergies thing is a great idea. I would have never thought of that (coures' I am still tryong to figure what the heck to buy. LOL!)

I know it's a quick cruise, but we have Thursday (the day of embarkation) to give out gifts, which mean we need to get our FE's up as soon as we can get into our cabins right? Then Friday as well and lastly Saturday until 11pm. Right? Based on how many people are participating I might be able to do more than one day too. Maybe that's just because the kids seem to be so easy to pick up stuff for. I am still struggling with the adult gifts though when trying to keep it all Disney themed. And, is it one gift per person or per cabin? Sorry, first timer here doing this.

Oh and I agree let's make tomorrow (Friday, 3/4/11) the last day to sign up for the FE.

Sorry, no cabin number yet for me. I'll probably just post it live here when I do finally get though. I trust you guys, you won't over-the-hill my door, right? LOL!

Cut off sounds good to me. By my list we have 16 adults and 10 kids total. I spent all day today making magnets for my cabin door and my grandkids door. They turned out pretty good. I just printed stuff off the internet and added my little touches. It took a lot of printer ink but I went bananas and had fun!

Wow, now that I see the estimate from SDtink, I think your right. Let's go with the designated day if it's okay with everyone else. Man, I had no clue our little thread had so many people on this sailing! LOL! Gosh, I was think maybe 7 kids and I wasn't even thinking about how many adults that would be on here. LOL! I guess you can tell this is my first time doing this FE thing. LOL!

Though DCL doesn't usually put me in the middle cabins, so at least I won;t have the entire ship making fun at me. I usually end up all the way in the back and this time I bet I'll be all the way in the front. LOL!

I think making the door decorations is the most pre-cruise fun! I posted a picture of my very first cruise door on my FB page. It's really grown since then and everyday I change it out based on the theme. Like for Thanksgiving I added a Turkey. And my Mickey head had a pirate hat for Pirate Night. I think I am gonna make new ears this time that have some glitter in them. It makes me feel so crafty to make these things, when I am so not! LOL! Have fun with your door decoration and thanks for the estimate on the FE people.

I need to find a way to make something for my door in my free time, LOL! I know it will make finding the room so much easier for the kids. 10 kids, I guess its not that bad, but 3 of them are mine I might consolidate the adults into 1 adult gift to be shared for each room

The hardest part about making the door decorations in my opionion is getting the magentic paper or tape (whatever you want to use). It will definitly make it easier for your kids to find your door. Just go online find any Disney clip art you like (these Dis folks create some cool stuff too- just email them to have them send you their custom designs) and print it out. You can print it on magnetic paper or just buy the magnetic tape and stick it to the back. And the stuff you print you can laminate it if you want or not...I usually don't (saves time and money). These are great projects to get your kids involved with. For the Mickey ears, just use a thick felt or even that foamy paper will probably work. The pattern is on the Disboards somewhere. Oh and another cheap easy trick, go to Home Depot and pick up some of those Disney head silhoutte piant chips and cut them out and stick some magenetic tape to the back. Easy, fun and addicting! LOL!
