Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

leaving work just a little early today and we're heading out to Woodfield for the sneak peek at Disney's Doorway to Dreams. Looking forward to seeing the AKL models and any surprises they may have for us. We won't be buying any more points so we may just be coming home empty handed (if incentives are only for those who buy). Just have to wait and see. Still it is a little bit of Disney!

found us on page 2 again! Kaylee and I slept in this morning, didn't wake up until right before 11! So nice to do that sometimes. Josh is still at camp until Saturday, I miss him. Kaylee does too, even though they do nothing but fight when he's here!

Nothing planned for today. We are thinking about going to the county fair tomorrow!

Just back from Doorway to Dreams. It was ok - not wonderful. It is right down the hall from the Apple store. So Karen if we make it great, but if we run out of time that day I wouldn't say it would be something to lose sleep over. Did get to see a number of the DVC staff we've met on past cruises. Plus Mark got to see an old friend.

Sounds good. Either way. It'd be cool to see DVC somewhere other than Disney, but you're right...no need to lose sleep over it. If it works out, it does, if not, no loss, eh?

Very very sad. We've been over that bridge before. So scary to see that school bus but luckly everyone on that came out alive. Really shows how things can happen in an instant when you least expect it.

read some coverage and looked at some pictures/videos of the bridge collapse on CNN last night. How horrible! It really goes to show you that life can end in an instant, when you least expect it! Hugs and Prayers going out to all involved!

hey all! It's 3:39am and I am awake. I fell asleep very early last night, around 7ish, and woke up at 11, wide awake, and now I can't fall back asleep!

Our HOA has a community swimming pool, and even though we hardly ever go there since we have our own pool, we still know the life guards, etc. Plus, Kaylee had her swimming lessons there last month! Well, we found out that one of the life guards, who is 16, went to Vegas with his family last week. They had this big family reunion. They rented some vacation homes, next to each other, and one had a pool. All the kids were in the pool, and they all did a train down the pool slide. They came up, and Tyler (the life guard) was missing. They thought he went inside, but he didn't. they went lookign for him and 10 min. later they found him on the bottom of the pool! It's so horribly sad, I just don't have the words right now... What makes it even more sad is that he was a life guard, and it could have been all prevented. Apparently, he hit his head on the slide on the way down and was knocked unconcious. He sunk to the bottom of the pool and drowned. if only someone had seen it and pulled him out, he could have survived the blow to the head!

It makes me realize how fast it can really happen. I am glad Josh will be home tomorrow. Those freak accidents can really happen to anyone, at any time.

My dh and I just booked this cruise seconds ago. It will be our 3rd trip on the Magic but first ever doing the Eastern. And we're doing this cruise to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Our anniversary is actually april 5th but I can't ever leave before tax season is over. So any trips have to be after April 15th.

We haven't gotten our stateroom number yet but it'll be a cat. 6 somewhere on deck 6.

I'm really excited and can't wait to go back to the Magic!!!

Las Vegas Report: Last nite I saw LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. An awesome show. Even better than the Simpson's Movie.

Tonite I'm going to see Wayne Brady. My expectations aren't too high, but maybe I'll be surprised.

The bad news: I was up $300 this trip playing roulette, but lost all of it in a matter of 5 minutes last nite. The good news: I'm back to where I started from when I first arrived here. As my brother said, "the casino basically loaned me $300 to play their games. When the gambling G-ds were ready to take their money back, they took their money back." And they did last nite. The Love show cheered me up.

Simpson's Movie: I promised a coworker that I am travelling with that I would see the Simpsons movie with him here, since his wife didn't want to see it. We went a few nites ago, and there were less than 15 people in the whole theater. Not a lot of contagious laughter. For me, it wasn't as funny the second time, and my coworker rated the movie as good, but not great. I think he would have enjoyed it more if the theater had been full of laughing people.

Hi Daisy! Nice to meet you! I'm Kay, travelling with my DH and 2 kids (8 and 11 next year). This will be our first Disney cruise! My birthday is on the 25th, so I will be celebrating on the ship!

Josh is back from camp. We picked him up today! Poor thing picked up a lantern and got 2nd degree burns on his thumb! He was still a trooper though, and managed to finish off his swimming merit badge! It's all bandaged up, I haven't had a chance to look at it, but we went out and got some Neosporin since we were out and more bandages to put on. I'll have him take a shower later and change it! sounds like he had a ton of fun though, despite the fact that he got hurt. He looks all tan and handsome!

So I was just looking at the excursions for the eastern cruise. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good snorkeling excrursion?

Also which island is the best for shopping? Dh really wants a nice watch.
