This is our first Eastern Caribbean cruise as well. Also, first 7 nite cruise. pirate:

Well, the verdict for Wayne Brady is in: I'll give the show a 6.5 out of 10 (good but not great). I'm not in the Wayne Brady fan club, so my opinion is biased. He is a very talented individual - can sing, dance, and make up funny stuff on the fly. He would pick people out of the audience and ask things about themselves. Then he and another fellow would make up skits and songs. Nonetheless, the show seemed to drag in a few places. Seeing LOVE the previous nite probably had a lot to do with it. Analogy time: It would be like taking a 7 nite Eastern Caribbean Disney cruise, immediately followed by a 3 nite Carnival cruise. The Carnival cruise just wouldn't compare. :cool2:

Today is my last day in Vegas. I think I'm ready to go home. There is only so much of Sin City one can take. :crazy2:

WOOHOO... UTOP 4 ME!

just wanted to say goodbye! We are leaving tomorrow to go camping until Friday!

Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Daisy - both St. Martin and St. Thomas are known for good shopping. I brought a ring 6 years ago in St. Martin at a store called Majesty based on the recommendation of someone I trust to know good jewelry. I am very happy with that purchase.

As for snorkeling - we did a DCL excursion in St. Martin. Water was kind of rough and I didn't enjoy it very much. We are looking at doing a snorkeling tour to St. John this time. I snorkeled at Trunk Bay Beach many many years ago and it blew me away!

Welcome Daisy! :) Glad you found us!
No suggestions for you on excursions and shopping. We aren't big snorkeling people. Just mostly like to hang out and let the stresses of real life float away! :)

We're back. We were gone all weekend. Did you miss us? Went up to Cleveland on Saturday morning to return my parent's dog we've had for two weeks and so Mike could continue on to Canada to fish.

Fishing was horrible this year. Between the 4 guys they caught 6 fish, none of them huge. And the waves were really big. ICK.

Mike got back to Cleveland last night around 8:30 and we left there to come home at around 9. Yawn.

The kids and I hung out with my mom. Played a lot of games. Went to see Evan Almighty (again) and I got a lot of work done on my cross stitch project. :) woo-hoo! :)

Welcome back Karen - of course we missed you! Though Mark and I were thinking of you all yesterday as we went and ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise! :)

we do not know about shopping in st. Martin or st. Thomas dw and I are planning to do shopping in st Thomas just walking around on our own after we do the sky ride overlook I plan on doing the regatta in st. Martin

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! I MADE IT THROUGH 129 PAGES!! It only took me 2 1/2 days to finally get through them all. Yall have been very busy bees on here for 15 or so months.

Okay now i'm going to go feed my weimaraner before I lose my left arm. Not to mention she keeps looking at me saying "mom, it's 5:18pm and there is NO food is my bowl!!!!" (yes my doggies talk to me)

Now that I still have my left arm and the dog (yes it's 5:22PM) is done eating I can do the get to know you that Mary posted. I figure I have a ton to catch up on.

Four jobs I’ve held:

We live in midtown atlanta since 8 months after our wedding with our 2 doggies - 6yo sheltie Daisy and 4.5 yo weimaraner Jasmine. Those are our kids!!!! Wish they could enjoy the Magic but Adam doesn't think we can dress them up enough to make them look like real kids. Okay enough i'm done for now

OK sense I may have missed something Daisy112878 what is your first name. guess I can mention our oldest son has his degree in accounting too looks to be a popular profession.

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

Daisy - great job on getting through all the pages. Hope we didn't bore you too more. :lmao:

Good morning!!!

My first name is Wendy. It wasn't too boring esp with the side stories and bad nightmare.

Well it looks like adam and I will be driving all night to get to the port. The flights from ATL to MCO right is $528.20 per person. Yes for a 50 minute flight!!!! Not to mention that cuts way too much into my spa money. So unless airtran does a sell between now and then we'll be driving all night since Adam can't get off that friday. Adam wants to leave atlanta at like midnight/1 am and just drive straight to the port. We'll see about that.

I do not feel to bad now $478.00 buffalo to Orlando us airways through Charlotte even our travel agent was surprised at the air fares during these dates

i'm an avid airmiles collector and i am booking tomorrow. have enough to get two free flights finally.:cheer2:
i think airmiles is only a canadian thing, not sure:confused3 but two free flights, ya hooooo:dance3:

Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

Wendy I got your info and hope to have it up on the website by this weekend.

Woo hoo - a UTOP with Wendy!

PDFG and all who need it!

OK guess I better explain that for Wendy. Back on the December 2004 cruise thread that I was on with Karen we started celebrating when someone got the Top Of Page which we called a TOP (clever bunch huh?) :lmao: We knew when it would come as there are only 15 posts on a page. Karen's daughter KT came up with UTOP with means Unexpected Top Of Page.
One member of that group GaRry is on the national registry for a liver transplant and couldn't sail with us on the last cruise the group did (the May '06 double scoop cruise aka the Blabbermouths). So we started a new tradition that whenever anyone of us got a TOP we'd make a wish that GaRry got to the top of the transplant list. PDFG stands for Pixie Dust For GaRry.

We have quite a few delta skymiles but the only skymile flights available require 50,000 points per person. I'm not willing to give those up to get to orlando.

Looks like we'll be making the 9 hour fieldtrip to the port. We're seriously considering leaving our house at 1am and just driving straight to the port. So if you see a short blonde girl and a really tall dark haired guy driving in a green explorer watch out!! We'll have one mission to find a lounge chair on deck 9 near the adult pool and mojiots.

Mary - I wasn't going to say it. I was going to be nice and say thank you just like my momma always told me to do.
