OMG - There are over 100 pages to read. We've got a lot of catching up to do..
Dis Name: zerog (pronounced zero-G, not zee' rog)
Names: Randy, 48, Steph, 34
Kids (ages at time of cruise): DS, Kyler, 8 and DD, Taryn, 5
Cabin number: Cat 12 GTY.
Dining - late, however I'm going to try to change this. Otherwise I may have to bring a blanket and pillow to dinner for my DD. Taryn fell asleep at the table the first nite.

Thankfully the Head Waiter saw this and changed us to early seating the next 2 nites.
Ok, I've read the first 5 pages so far dating back to November 06. It may take me a few weeks to catch up - so I don't know what's been discussed so far. Pardon me if I repeat something.
Background:
We just finished a 3-nite cruise aboard the Wonder on May 24. We had a great time, but time flew by so fast. So, I booked this cruise onboard; really as a place holder to lock in the discount and OBC (however, I think this date will actually work out). Turns out, the 10% discount doesn't apply to a Cat 12 GTY. The Cat 12 GTY was cheaper than booking a Cat 11 room (with discount).
This IS the last Eastern 7-nite cruise of spring for the Magic. I think the Eastern is the way to go based on a poll I submitted on the general message boards (ref. East vs. West thread). As far as excursions, I have no idea at this time what we're going to do. I have heard that St. Johns has a beautiful beach, so I'll probably find something to do there.
We live about 10 minutes from the port, so perhaps I can answer some local-type questions. But then again, I can't help too much because we don't need 3rd party transportation to the port (e.g., bus or taxi) nor a hotel stay prior to the cruise.
The Good News: I get motion sick very easily.

However, I didn't get seasick or dizzy on the last cruise, despite some very rough seas (10 to 12 feet). I wore a patch and did a bunch of other recommended precautions. Something worked.
Well, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Just 10 more months to go!
