Hi Heather! Hope you join us. We are all planning on having a wonderful cruise and would love to have you join us.

Hmmmm - something at the deck 10 DIS meet. Wonder what that could be? :rolleyes1

Woo Hoo a UTOP with Heather - see if they do that on the May 3rd thread!

PDFG and all who need it!

Hmmm......I just don't know ;) And if Amy decides to cruise with us, she can't have the idea this time. I got here first! :rotfl2:

Hi,

You did get here first and it has been an exciting flurry of activity ever since.:yay:

Jen

SO happy you used the word "exciting" instead of "annoying."

:) :lmao: :rotfl2:

You make me laugh. Do you sleep? It's 8:00 here - is it 10:00 or 11:00 in Ohio? I do know that Ohio is in the US and accepts US currency (if you read the passport forum on the main board today you'll understand the joke).

:lmao: :rotfl: I saw that earlier today! They speak English too, there in Ohio! And drive on the right side of the road. OR DO THEY???

Yup. I sleep. Usually hitting the sack around 12:30-1:00am. I've kinda gotten into the habit. :( Then I drag my sorry butt out of bed at 7:30 or 8:00am.

Part of the problem is we homeschool, so the kids don't HAVE to be up to get on the bus. Then add to that rehearsals for plays in the evenings and pretty soon the kids are on the schedule where they aren't going to bed until 10:30-11:00. Then I need ME time. Tonight I watched a DVD on my laptop (sitting next to my dh who is on his laptop writing tomorrow's Mouse Matters)...that's "quality time, right?" Dueling laptops? :)

I don't venture out to the "other" boards much. :) I get pretty involved in my cruise meet threads. I do try to participate in the budget board threads (the saving ones, not the spending ones!) But other than that, I don't get out frequently at all. ;)

Yes, though, Ohio is part of the US, and does use US currency. Now, MICHIGAN on the other hand....that's a different story. Dd says if she's ever president, she's going to nix Michigan from the US and just have 49 states. :) See, we're OSU Buckeye fans here, and Michigan is our biggest rival. In fact, during football season if anyone in the house says the "M" word, they get charged a quarter!!! :lmao:

Lots of stuff you guys don't know about me....you've got 15 months to figure it all out. :lmao:

yep, she got here and got the party started! And we'll never be the same again... :cheer2:

Yeah, that could be good or that could be bad. :) Depends on your perspective.

I'm glad, though, that you're getting my sense of humor. I just had someone recently tell me that I was rude and disrespectful b/c of the jokes I make. Uh....sorry. But that's who I am. I've always said that if I don't like you, I don't waste my time and energy coming up with witty stuff. :) So if I'm ribbing you, then all is cool! :)

I grew up with my dad who is just a hoot. For the longest time he told me I was adopted (which I believed b/c as the 4th child in the family they couldn't even find my hospital baby pictures!) I say I believed it, but deep in my heart I knew my dad was joking. He would even point out the orphanage I came from when we drove through Cleveland...the Jones Home. Yup, until I was about 15 or so and found out the Jones Home was an all boys orphanage!! My dad is quick and witty and is very quick to crack a joke. But he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. I'm definitely cut from the same cloth! :)

btw, it's 12:30 am here. We are 3 hours behind California. :)

Well, we're from LONDON, Ohio, so technically I think we are allowed to drive on the wrong side of the road. At least the combines and tractors do....they drive on BOTH sides of the road. Every spring and fall you have to allow extra travel time around me b/c chances are you're going to get behind farm equipment that backs up tons of traffic (why can't they just pull over for 3 mintues and let ppl pass once in awhile?) :confused3

I went and hunted it down. Too funny. But yet sad. :( That's a fear of mine with homeschooling....that I'm going to miss something important.....like that you can't drive to Spain! :) (actually, I think my kids already know that!) :lmao:

Well, off to bed for me.....
but before I go...
here's a topic for discussion....
What TV shows do you watch regularly?

We are Grey's Anatomy, Lost, and Survivor fans. Tonight I watched the first disc of season 1 from The Office and burst out laughing several times. :) So I guess I need to catch up on those to get current.....

We have watched American Idol in the past (my dad calls it "American Idiot") but haven't watched it yet this season b/c of rehearsal schedules.

anyone else?

Well, now, I'm not going to TELL you. Cuz you'll say "oh, that's crappy" and you might just cancel the cruise! :) Really, nothing major. Just a little DIS surprise. :)

:rotfl: :rotfl2:   thta's the funniest thing I have heard all week! Me canceling the cruise? Forget it! You're not gonna get rid of it that easily, I don't care if your surprise is the crappiest surprise in all of surprise history!!

I just had a fight with DH. He is so weird about his business, and he hates to be away from it. Since I want to fly out Thursday night, it means we'll be gone for 9 days! I told him, I'll go by myself with the kids then, I don't care! I might just do it because I am NOT gonna listen to him whine about it for the next 15 months!

I have a weird sense of humor too, that some may find offending! So I totally understand! I am kind of shy at first though when you meet me in person, but I warm up to people pretty quickly. Sometimes I have to contain myself because I say pretty off the wall stuff and I have to remember that most people don't have the same sense of humor than me and might find it offensive/weird!

 I was just about to ask if anyone is watching American Idol becaue I am about to head upstairs and watch it. I recorded it on my DVR so I can breeze through the commercials.

But the shows I watch on a regular basis are: Desperate Housewives, CSI, Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol and Big Brother in the summer!

Hey what I am? Chopped liver? Boy arrive an hour or so later and I get no credit for adding to the fun. :sad1:

Honestly I agree with you guys - Karen is a lot of fun. Must be why this will be my 4th cruise with her and her family!
