Just called DCL. Was told they did have an engine problem with 1 engine. As of right now....all is fixed and they are operating at 100%.
She stated that they would not sail the ship if it was not 100% okay.

2 years ago, our DCL cruise was cut in half by a hurricane. After days of stress, we managed to have a rockin 3 day cruise to Cozumel.

its all in the attitude..But it sounds like we dont even need to worry!

Absolutely! We stayed at the Marriot there and whatever DVC builds will be nothing less than an enhancement to what is already a gem on the western shore of Oahu.

Randy - did you get up to watch the shuttle launch?

Good "morning" everyone

Last night I took my DS to see the Shuttle night launch. We were about 3 miles from the launch pad, which is as close as anyone can get except for the astronauts themselves (LOL) and the rescue team.

It was a beautiful night except for the low cloud cover. Once Endeavor cleared the clouds, the show was over. However, it was still an awesome sight. Night turned into an orange daylight. DS said he thought the rumble would be a little louder and was surprised that it 'crackled' so much. A few minutes after the launch, everyone applauded and we all went home and went back to sleep.

Changing the subject to happier thoughts what is everyone planning to do while on board. We will be mostly hanging around the adult pool reading and walking around deck 4 to work off the good meals anyone else thinking of doing any tastings may do the galley tour have there started bridge tours again

DW and I are so looking forward to the shows, catching up on the movies, catching the galley and ship tours, our first breakfast at Lumiere's, the evening meals, and goodies, relaxing at the pool, pirate night and the fireworks, WOW it just doesn't end.

We will be going through the navigator and scheduling many little items that make up the fantastic cruise that it is.

We have only 41 days until we leave for WDW, waiting is so hard.
Each day I think of being on the ship.

I can't wait period!! There is not one thing I look forward to the most. I have wanted to do this for over 10 years, and it's finally happening. I will just be happy as a clam to be there and taking it all in!!
