Just checking in! MIchael and I are in Memphis weekend and will catch up when we get back but I am so excited its less than 2 months away!

The Brunswick Family (speakupjc) will be going to DW 1 night prior to the cruise and staying at the AKL. We are also staying 1 night after the cruise at the Beach Club. Our plans on the cruise include St Maarten - relaxing on the beach at Little Divi Resort, St. Thomas - relaxing on the beach at Bolongo Bay resort, Castaway Cay - Relaxing on the beach. What can I say we are going to turn into beach bums. lol. We have dinner at Palo and are currently holding a reservation for brunch at Palo. We don't need the brunch on Palo and will be canceling it. Mary is it possible to put it into anyone else's name and does someone else from this group want it?

What day and time is it for? We're trying to get a slot so Karen and Mike can join us on Sunday. I would think they would let you switch it to someone else. I would do it be talking to the person in charge of Palo on the first day.

Do they check ID's at Palo Brunch? If not, perhaps Kay could use your name to secure a table?

They don't check id's but they do ask for your KTTW card for the charge at the end. I think it would be easier to have it switched before showing up.

Palo Brunch....that is the biggest reason we are going to get to the port early so we can hopefully be on board early and secure brunch. We have dinner but I accidentally made it for Pirate night so that won't work. Does anyone know where we have to go to do Palo res. when we board? I have read horrible reports of people who have asked the CMs when they boarded and were give the wrong location and it cost them being way back in the line when they finally figured out the right place to go.

They usually do it in the club area. So as soon as you board into the atrium make a right and go to the club area. The important thing is when you check in they will give you a paper that talks about a number of things and one of them listed is where to go for Palo reservations.

I think the Dell is trying to say, "You should have bought a Mac."

Maybe that's just me.

The minute I read Randy's post I thought to myself - Karen will chime in about him not buying the Mac. Sure enough there you are!

morning all! Foggy here today. I am a bit under the weather, my tummy feels all funky. No surprise here, I have actually been waiting. The other gal in my office has been sick and our principal just came down with it, so it's only natural that I'm next. At least it's almost the weekend. I just hope I feel back to 100% by Monday!

Is anyone else crazy like me and goes to the disney cruise website just to listen to the music when the page loads? Puts me in vacation mood! Well, I do log in daily to check and see if palo brunch magically becomes available!

Well, that's sort of true. Just that "Palace" changed status. The other 2 in this status are "Carpet" and "Elephants."

I hate to admit, but I'm having a hard time remembering this "memory helper."

Unlike my recent experience incorrectly calculating people's ages, I actually do enjoy math. DOH. So here is a trick I learned that I would like to share:
* How to multiply any 2 digit number times 11 in your head in less than 3 seconds. *

Take the number and split the digits. Then add the digits and put the sum in the middle. Like 23 x 11 --> becomes (2 - 3) --> 2-5-3. It gets slightly trickier when the 2 digits add up to 10 or more, then you have to change the first number too. So, 84 x 11 --> 8 -- 4 --> 8 (12) 3 --> 923.

I know, some people just have too much time on their hands.

Oh, we wandered the mall last night and stopped at the disney store where all of their snowglobe things are 50% off. There is a beauty and the beast one I really want and the POC is really cool!

whoohoo!!! I can now say "I'm going on a disney cruise NEXT MONTH"!!!! I remember it like it was yesterday when we hit the 1 year mark and said ONLY ONE MORE YEAR!!!!

We were reading the Passporter cruise book and we have a question. At St. Thomas it says everyone must present themselves to Immigration. Is this just non US residents or everyone and how this is done

EVERYONE has to go through immigration. It happens early in the morning. You will be given a sheet in your room the night before that explains it all and tells you when and where to report. When we last did it back in 2004 it was in the Walt Disney Theatre. You line up and walk on through. There is someone there to check your passport (or birth certificate and ID) and then you are done. You will see little kids still in pj's and they have coffee and rolls available while you are waiting. I think the whole thing took about 10-15 minutes for us. After Mark went back to bed while I went and got breakfast. We were a little extra tired because we had gone to Midnight (ok 11 pm) Mass the night before. Our last time in St. Thomas was Christmas Day 2004!
