Well, let's see. There is a small little football game tomorrow. Should only be about 100thousand people there. Nothing too big. Mike and KT are going. Nick and I have no real plans.
Sunday, Mike is on call. Will go to the office in the morning and see kids as long as needed. Weather is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL so he shouldn't be home too late.
Monday, he'll have to round at the hospital if there are any patients admitted.
That's it. No grand plans. Our grand plans were last weekend. :) And grand they were.

Btw, Mary, I have given you an award over on the blog! Please come down the red carpet and accept! :)

Thank you Karen - that is so sweet! I'm going to put it up on our groups web page!

Tell KT and Mike to have fun at the game. Hang On Sloopy - OHIO!

We have plans with 87,000 people tomorrow!!!!!!! GOOOOO DAWGS!!!!!!!!

Tonight we're going to Atlanta Brewing Company. It's a local brewery that has $7.00 all you can drink beer plus you get to keep the nice beer glass. They also have music etc on friday nights. Sunday we have plans with our friend who is back intown from Hawaii. He's been on a consulting project in Hawaii the past 5 months. Must be rough!!

Well I am sick but I will be watching my Ohio State Buckeyes on tv and proudly wearing my shirt. My dd has a game at 7:30 PM at which she has to cheer for the Bengals (9-12 year olds tackle ball) so we will be going to that or at least her daddy will! As you can tell this will be a football weekend in our home and will be the start of many. I can hardly wait to see my buckeyes take the field.

Let me hear you respond:

OH:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Go Bucks!!!!!!!

IO!

Guess all that time with Karen and her family has paid off. :lmao: OH was the last thing we yelled as we left them at the pool last Sunday night.

Well, since Mary already beat me to the "I-O" part, I won't repeat it.

You are LUCKY!!! As of now, we WON'T get to see it on TV.
Seems like Time Warner Cable and the Big Ten Network can't come to an agreement, so the game won't be on TV.

But we'll listen to it anyway. :)
Mike and KT will be there.....of course!

What games are you coming to this year???

LOL I am proud of Mary for knowing what to say but you could have started the chant again. Just kidding but you know that is what we do at the games!

We have direct tv so we have the big 10 network. Minnie you might want to switch to direct tv if your provider can't get their act together. If you decide to switch let me know as I watched a commerical last night saying we can both get $50 if you do. Do I dare say then we will have money for the cruise. lol. I really do love the big 10 network and am glad we have it. Gone are the days that I will have to rent the broadcast (another dollar savings). I hope your subscriber gets their act together and get it for you.

As far as what games we are going to attend. Here is the list:

September 22 - Ohio State beats Northwestern
October 20 - Ohio State pounds Michigan State
November 3 - Ohio State crushes Wisconsin
November 10 - Ohio State kills Illinois (or in honor of Thanksgiving makes mincemeat pie out of Illinois)

There is 1 more game that we might attend but I will let you know that one later. We are staying at the Varsity Inn. I don't know what times all the games will be held but lets plan on getting together for at least one of them. Let me know which one (s) work for you and we will put our planners together and see what meshes.

Go Bucks!!!!

Can't do DirectTV here. We did have it at one time but it didn't work well for us. Central Ohio is notoriously very very cloudy. Between that and the fact that we have LARGE trees right in the path the dish had to pick up, our signal was always iffy, especially in the summer when the trees had leaves! Darn!

I think it's just for the first two games. All of the other games will be on other channels (which we get) Whew!

I know we can't get together for the Northwestern game. We've had enough Chicago for one year (JUST KIDDING!!!!) Actually, Mike somehow ended up on call that day so we're giving our tickets away.

Tomorrow at exactly noon, my blog will be updated with a post about OSU!! YIPPIE!

Good morning Cruisers

We sail in 34 weeks!

sun is rising on the Magic at HOME in Port Canaveral!

Ohio Minnie I thought the same thing when I saw the picture and then I read the caption. It just shows that great minds think alike! To the poster it is a good picture though.

Minnie sorry that you can't get the first 2 games on your tv but I am glad that you can get the rest of them. So you have had enough of Chicago huh? What was there that made you not want to go back? (just kidding). That game is in the shoe as you know but I am sorry that your dh and child had to give those tickets away. How does it look for us to get together after one of the other games. They haven't released the times of those games yet with the exception of Michigan State on October 20. That game is homcoming and is at 3:30 PM. Since it is homecoming that would be a fun game to meet up at either before or after as long as we met in the OSU area. The Buckeye Cafe is right next door to the Varsity Inn and the streets are open the whole day. Just a thought. What part of Columbus do you live in? I am also having to juggle my dd games which means that on Oct 21 I have to be back home (in Lexington) by 4:30 PM. I don't know what time I have to be back in November as the tournament schedule hasn't been published. Catherine is 4 as you know and is cheering for the Bengals, a 9-12 year old football team this year. The players are awesome and proudly made her feel like a million dollars when they posed for pictures last Saturday. She is their youngest cheerleader.

It would be so much fun to connect before the cruise so I really want to meet you.

Take care and remember

Go Bucks!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

OH

So you have had enough of Chicago huh? What was there that made you not want to go back?

Us :sad::sad::sad::sad:

Ok I know you and Karen were kidding. Hey at least we don't live in Meat-Chicken. :lmao:

Did no one catch the "JUST KIDDING!!!!" part of that????

We LOVED Chicago. Everything (and everyone) about it.....

'cept maybe the traffic! :)

I caught it. See my post. Here is the excerpt.

So you have had enough of Chicago huh? What was there that made you not want to go back? (just kidding).

I even said just kidding as of course I know you were teasing Mary and I played along just to tease her some more. I do hope Mary realized that we were teasing her but I do believe she did.

By the way what did you think about the rest of my post? I asked you what you thought and am waiting to hear back.

By the way what a perfect Saturday -

Go Bucks and Appalachain State!!!!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I saw it, just wanted to talk to Mike when he got home from the game. I asked him about the Buckeye Cafe and he looked at me and said "are you CRAZY? That place will be a ZOO on gameday. But OK." :)

So as things get closer we can plan. :) We actually don't live in Columbus.....we live about 30 minutes west....in London. :)

Yeah, so totally cannot believe the Meat-chicken game. Kinda a shame that we can't be the one to ruin their season!!! ;) :lmao:

Sounds great!!!! We don't have to go there if you guys know a better place. We opened the place the day of the OSU-MI game and it really wasn't crowded and even waiting to get in line was fun with everyone doing cheers etc. I guess with us staying next door it made it easy to get a table. Please don't tell everyone it wasn't crowded though as that is our secret ok. As far as the MI game when they meet the Bucks their season will get even worse. I am just so happy that there is no way anyone will take them seriously (unless all teams have at least 2 losses) for the National Championship. What can I say "I HATE MI and I used to live there." Funny thing though - I do love the MI Junior Miss People and when I go down to AL I support their girl.

If anyone on this thread got an email from me to join Quechup (social networking site) DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
It's a scam and I fell for it. (sigh) I'm smarter than this. I should have known better.
Sorry. :(

It was nice to see the Magic going by on the two palms cam and on her Caribbean schedule again unfortunately all the cruise lines will have to deal with another hurricane. Were suppose to have a nice next couple of days here so I for one will be mowing the lawn and doing other odds and ends outside over the next two days.

Good morning everyone! It is great to see the Magic back home.

I see where Felix is about to cause havoc. The good news is the US isn't in its sights. Better news is that we are this late in the season and only on "F". Two years ago we sailed Sept 4-7 on the Member Cruise and had to dock in Ft. Lauderdale because of hurricane Ophelia!

Here's hoping that all those in the path of Felix stay safe.
