April 26 - May 3, 2008 Caribbean Crazy Cruisers Part 2!

YES! That was us, too bad you didn't introduce yourself as I didn't know it was you :confused3

I didnt put two and two together (bc I'm so horrible with names) I just remembered that you were sailing with your mom and son and that your son was about 8/9. If I remember correctly, we were sort of in a hurry to get somewhere after spending a good bit of time around the pool. I think we were heading to a movie. We actually saw more movies this cruise than ever before.

Love the iPhone, but just realized it autocorrected "ivo" and turned it into Ibo. :lmao:

Saw the Ibo instead of Ivo. I think he'll forgive you! We saw a lot of movies this cruise as well. Many more than we normally do. Very good selection this cruise.

Still dealing with the cold plugged sinuses and congested after reading here of all the colds just wondering how many people all of us shared ours with during our stays at WDW

a quick cruise report our Room steward was great she was oriental and hard to understand but our room was great usually ready somewhere after 9 am or earlier and always right after dinner.. Our server and assistant server were bad or maybe we were just spoiled on our last cruise the assistant server didn't speak what I would even call close to English and was always mixing things up but he sure pushed everyone to buy drinks we bought ours latter down at beat street. our server was what I like to call patrionizing and seemed annoyed with me because i wanted soup and salad. we had a great time down at beat street just wished more diser's would have joined us. We are sure one day we will run into some of you on another Disney cruise

Are there any plans on these boards to add some more 'smiles?' As if 200 isn't enough, LOL.

Randy - I think smilies are pretty low on the list for admin right now. Sorry about that.

I've been meaning to ask, is a double dip when you go to CC twice or is it back to back sailings?

Thanks, I thought so. BTW I love your trip report and the pictures you took are awesome!

morning all! Has everyone adjusted to being back home yet? I don't know what's wrong with me, I have been so tired. I have a hard time getting up in the morning and going to work! I can't possibly still be jet lagged, so not sure what's up. Maybe it's the cough I have. DH and Josh have not gotten it so far, only Kaylee and I.

Would love to see all of your vacation pics. I am slowly getting mine resized and uploaded to my flickr, as soon as I'm all done, I will share!

I'm not home yet. I'm on "island time."
tom Sawyer island to be precise. ;)

and so as we all go on with our lives, I leave this poem which can be heard at the end of the Moody Blues song, "Nights in White Satin:'

Breath deep
The gathering gloom
Watch lights fade
From every room
Bedsitter people
Look back and lament
Another day's useless
Energy spent

Impassioned lovers
Wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love
And has none
New mother picks up
And suckles her son
Senior citizens
Wish they were young

Cold hearted orb
That rules the night
Removes the colours
From our sight
Red is gray and
Yellow white
But we decide
Which is right
And
Which is an Illusion

Mark and Mary, we just listened to the CD you guys gave us! What a wonderful wondful gift! Thank you so much!! It put us back on the Magic, we danced and sang around our living room, and I added all the songs to my ipod!

just got home last night but wanted to thank you mary for the help you gave me while on the cruise. funny how you where around when i needed you most, like when dh and i where trying to figure out port and starboard. nice little tip about left and port!
i have to go back and read posts to see how everyone made out. hope all had a good time. :flower3:

quick report....
our room steward was great. everytrhing was done magically and we never saw him do it. he knocked at the door first day to see if we needed anything on a regualr basis. i asked him to keep me in shampoo and body butter and boy, did he. he also always kept the ice full for the bottle of wine i brought on board but never opened. he got that with his tip at the end of the cruise.
our servers were not very good. nice enough but certainly not special. the assitant did not always remember to bring drinks and it took a while to get them even after we ordered. like mark said earlier, we are pretty plain eaters so the food seemed great to us. no complaints with it. we ate at topsiders one night and the meal was as good as, if not better than anything we had in the dinning rooms.
i was worried about having table mates but that turned out great. one couple from the chicago area nad one from the uk. very nice people. we had hoped to dine alone because this was a 35th anniversary cruise for us but it all worked out well.
LOVED alfred and seymour. did everyone eles? i could not keep from laughing out loud and i am not one to do that. thought they were the best show i have seen on a vacation trip.
did the scavenger hunt at castaway cay and we really enjoyed that. was not as easy as i thought it would be either.
finally got a head server who i felt did somethng. i know they look after everything but this is the first one who showed any interest in making his presence known. he came around almost every night just to see how things were.
we rebooked and will be going back in feb, 2009.
