April 25th It's going to be a Dream

Really angry with myself... now I am going to be completely stressed out during at least part of the cruise because I booked our flight back home too early - 10:15am. Think to save time we are going to not check luggage and disembark on our own. Talked to Disney and they said the bus will be there at 7:30 to pick people up so it'll be tight but if we are able to get on the bus at 7:30, be on our way and arrive around 8:30-8:45 that will be enough time. Of course that's IF nothing goes wrong. They wanted way too much money to change flight time, it's just ridiculous when there are plenty of seats left on the later flights (there are 5 non-stop flights after this one). I am just more annoyed with myself that I put myself in this situation... I am just going to have to deal with it and accept the fact there is a change we will miss our flight but since there are at least a dozen seats left on all of the later flights, I will get a flight home that day just may have to pay extra...

Okay, so, we have our sights on this cruise for 3 reasons:
1} Affordable
2} Availability on flights
3} Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Yes. Totally want to do this. We just have to figure out if we can get the time off work to do so

Questions on Castaway Cay
1) can you bring your own alcohol to the beach?
2) how many drinks can you order from the bar and take back to the beach?
3) is food allowed on the beach or only at the food areas?
4) is it apparent when it time to leave to reboard at the end of the day. (announcements, whistle's blow ect)

HNW999, I've been wondering some of the same things about Castaway Cay - especially how to know when to head back onboard. Although the pictures look so nice, I may be tempted to stow away.

Amunet - FYI, since it appears you haven't booked yet, you might want to look into which travel agents give you the most on board credit. Some give $200 or more depending on the length and other stuff. We had already booked when I found out about the OBC given or we would have gone through an agency. I am sure somewhere on the board is a whole thread dedicated to the subject.

Our daughter is a big Alice fan, so she wanted our fish extender to be Wonderland themed.

I didn't make the FE. It's from JoleesPockets on Etsy. The Cheshire porthole magnet is just printed on an Avery magnet sheet.

I am SO ready for April 25th to get here!

Junebug - Love it. I have printed out the sorcerers hat ears, the pirate hat ears and mickey ears. They came out great. I went to the copy store and the printed the ears on glossy cardstock for about .59 each page

River Country, I totally understand - it can get to be a lot of work. Although I have heard that some of the most popular gifts are just treats from someone's home state, which might not be too big of a pain. We thought about bringing along some Tennessee Moon Pies or GooGoo Clusters but started to run out of packing room. Plus if I had 40 moonpies hanging around the house before the cruise, I might gain so much weight that I'd get wedged in the Aquaduck.

There's a spot on the spreadsheet for folks that just want to say hi but not participate in the whole thing. We made some extra magnets in case anyone signed up there, and some others might do the same. So you could find yourself with a little bit of pixie dust on your door without dealing with all the crafty headaches. Just thought I'd throw that option out there for you...

And hi and welcome, jhelms! Cruising with a 15 month old - I remember that was a fun age for trips but we used to have to pack a lot of gear! Mine is almost 14 now. She travels a lot lighter but she can't quite imagine being without an internet connection for 3 whole days...haaaa!
