JNRstudios90, I have a daughter who will be turning 14 right after we get back from the trip. She is REALLY shy though, so she hasn't decided if she's going to try out Edge or Vibe yet. I hope she does - it looks like a blast. Plus, I'm hoping she'll want some alone time so that dad and I can check out the Mixology class!

When we talked about out trip tonight she asked if any of the families that are in DIS have teenagers, so I'm hoping she will want to try out Vibe and Edge!

Greetings! DH and I just booked our 4/25 cruise with our darling daughter. K will be 15 mths at sailing. This will be our first Disney cruise and first cruise with DD. I'm not sure about joining the FE yet. I'm a FT doctoral candidate, FT instructor, and unbalanced mommy without a single crafty bone in my body. I promise to commit by the end of the month if I do come up with a creative idea. Looking forward to setting sail with you.

Saw a couple of posts about personalized cruise clothing for kids. Does anyone on this board have suggestions? Etsy is a bit overwhelming with a ga-zillion different sellers/shops.

Oh and I did join the FB page.

Just wondering if the FB group shouldn't go private a little earlier than April 1, since several people can't join until it is....?

Also, since the Facebook page is now showing links to the Google doc with our room numbers, kids names and this thread, it might be a good idea to change the privacy settings sooner rather than later?

Sorry if this sounds paranoid. I just got burned by this before and want to keep things safe.

We were bouncing around the idea of just doing the snorkeling at Castaway Cay this trip and saving the stingrays for the next time. We loved the stingrays at Discovery Cove, but I figured there will be so much new this trip that we don't really need to pack in any extras.

I'm kinda disappointed that the Flying Dutchman is no longer there, but I know our water-crazy family is just going to be thrilled to paddle around the lagoon. Is anyone else doing the snorkeling? Or the stingray experience?

Questions on Castaway Cay

1) can you bring your own alcohol to the beach?
2) how many drinks can you order from the bar and take back to the beach?
3) is food allowed on the beach or only at the food areas?
4) is it apparent when it time to leave to reboard at the end of the day. (announcements, whistle's blow ect)
