APRIL 25,2012 5 night THE MAGIC KEY WEST CRUISE

I guess our slogan could be..."If bugs give you the hives, we will bee there for you." :lmao::rotfl::banana::goodvibes

LOVE your slogan and thanks for sharing the picture. What do you mean take care of them. I thought they "did" their own thing, all you need to do was collect the honey? Very interesting

Super excited about this trip but super busy too, trying to plan DD B-day party for May 12 too. The to do list keeps getting longer and nothings is being crossed off.

They don't need a lot of care, but they do need to be medicated periodically to help guard against pests that can destroy the hive.

Hey guys,

I was reading another thread and it gave me an idea... would you like to do a group picture at our meet-n-greet? I could probably bring my tripod then once we get back, I could post the pic on photobucket so everyone could get a copy. Or, if there is a better photog in our group, maybe they could take it. My good pictures are usually by accident. :goodvibes

Good idea or not?

I think this is a fantastic idea and will make an awesome souvenir. Thank you for thinking of this.

Welcome aboard. We have several Dis'ers on here. If you get a chance, stop by our meet n greet. It will be on boarding day at 3pm at the Promenade Lounge. That is on Deck 3 Port side, mid ship.

We are right down the hall in 5512. Our door will be decorated as well.:thumbsup2

Ok, how do you guys find time for the board,,:rotfl2: I can barely keep up with my life! I still have magnets, FE presents, and the FE period to make!! I am so behind. I don't even know if we have enough clothes to wear!

Allison: I bought dressy flip flops to wear too. I brought heels on my first cruise (Carnival) and couldn't even walk in them. I ended up taking them off but we had a pretty rocky trip.

:welcome: To Shanna and Michael!

Randy - Thanks for the tip explanation. So if I'm figuring correctly, since there are 3 of us, our total would be $180.00 ($36 each x 5 nights), right? And I can use my onboard credits for that? Woo Hoo!

Denise, Brittany & Robin - thanks for the flip-flop info. I do have a couple pair of dressier ones for dinner. I hardly ever wear any other type of shoes (other than my running shoes) from about March until October. Most of the time I'm barefoot (except at church & work)! Kevin can't understand why I have so many pairs of shoes when I hate wearing shoes!

Welcome Michael & Shanna!:dance3:

Also - I'm a photographer on the side, so I'd be glad to take the group photo if ya'll want. I always have my tripod, so it's not a big deal for me. If you want to check out some of my work, my site is here:Mom of Mouth Photography.

I think that is a spendid idea. You have a much better eye than I do. I might take on too though, just as a back up.

The last 7 day cruise I went on netted approximately 3,000 pictures, so I take a bunch. The problem is, I still haven't figured out all the manual settings. I am very disappointed they are apparently not allowing ANY photography in the shows anymore. Last time, it was no video or flash photography. I got some really neat shots that looked good in my photo book. I don't know what I will do to fill the book for this cruise. :confused3

It's a cruise. I have seen lots of folks that didn't look like they had much to wear. :scared1: Especially around the pool area. ;)

Hahaha. I was soooo thinking the same thing! There were sights I really didn't want to see sometimes, specifically the pool deck.

If anyone is interested in a fictional book series based on Disney (or if your young adult wants to read), check out The Kingdom Keepers.

The fifth book was just release two days ago, and it takes place the the Disney Dream.

I am currently reading the first book in the series, so that I can read them in order!
