Did anyone get their air tickets yet? We are thinking about flying out of JFK or LGA on 4/23 morning and fly right back to NYC right after the cruise, skipping the parks altogether this time. Debating if I should take the 2pm flight out of MCO. Any suggestion? Do you think we should have enough time to catch that flight home? Thanks.

I think you should have no problem getting a 2pm flight. After our last cruise in September, we were off the ship by about 8AM. We had the early seating. Our flight home was about 6:30 PM, we went to Kennedy Space Center for the day and still made it to the airport in plenty of time.

We haven't got our airline tix yet since we usually fly Southwest out of Islip and the rates don't go that far in advance. (They are only booking until Dec 11 right now) But we just got our tix for our December trip for $49 each way!

BTW, Welcome!!!!

You should have no problem with a 2PM flight IF you have the early seating. It also depends on the transportation you are using. When we flew home from our August cruise we had around a 4PM flight out of MCO to Kennedy on Jet Blue. We also had the late seating, which allowed us to be one of the last ones off the ship. We had no trouble finding our luggage and getting the shuttle to our rental car. We drove to Downtown Disney, where we had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe on the way to the airport. This time I think we are going Southwest in/out of Islip so that we don't have the limo fee and an hour ride after we get off the plane.

I would just like to make a suggestion -- Seriously think about leaving the day before the cruise. If there is a problem and flights are cancelled on 4/23 - you still have to pay for the cruise EVEN if you miss the ship! We are leaving the day before so that we can get there bright and early when the terminal opens for business. That way, we are one of the first on the ship, can get our Spa and Palo ressies, then sit back and enjoy!

I anyone doing REAS for the cruise? Have you been able to book it yet? I'm still going back and forth about it. One day I want to add it, the next day I don't. I'm too indecisive about this!

BTW, Bump!

bump!

+ are there any teens that are gonna be on this cruise that i could talk to??

Well we are under 250 days....i remember doing my first post on a thread for last years cruise and it was at 250 days and time went by so quickly. I cannot wait to be back onboard that beautiful ship! Do we have anyone else joining us??

Just back to work from my Carnival Glory Eastern Carribben cruise. We slipped in between the hurricanes, luckily. Now I can finally start planning my Disney Magic cruise. Can't wait time should fly by now that school is back in session.

We just returned from an Alaska Cruise. The scenery was really beautiful. The adults all had lots of fun but the kids ranging from 7 to 10, were bored and probably still too young to appreciate the natural beauty of Alaska. The kids are really looking forward to the next cruise on Disney. I have becoming a ¡§cruise addict¡¨ myself since my last Disney Cruise and I am also very excited planning for this upcoming cruise as well.

Oh, so glad that we have booked this cruise back in April. It looks like the stateroom that we have booked (Cat. 6) is no longer available. And the prices also went up sharply on the rest of the categories as well.
