DH doesn't appreciate my DISboards stuff either. He saw DD walking around with a alien green Home Depot paint chip and just rolled his eyes at me. Is it wrong to leave DH home from our 10th anniversary trip?

Ok, so I was wondering around AC Moore today and when I came across these great sheets of bright green craft foam I thought, "that's cool, what could I do with that?"

So, sorry Lance, I got the idea of the ever present bracelet. Just strips of foam with a rivit holding it together.

If you think these are lame, you're not alone, my DH thought so too. But, if you think that you'd like one to identify yourself as a DISer throughout the cruise let me know and I'll have one waiting for you at the meet at Scoops.

I know 2 kids that would think this is too cool a disney cruise bracelet plus the other 10 they have?

AHHHH!!! I am in packing hell!! Almost done. We go to Islip tomorrow morning for a 1:30pm flight. I keep envisioning that first drink after we board ship -- can't wait! Everyone have a great flight!

great idea...if you wouldn't mind, I know my 2 daughters would each love to have a bracelet. my oldest wears about 10 every day, it'll be the perfect addition to her collection

Thank goodness for these boards! I was taking a break from last minute packing....we leave in 2 1/2 hrs......to check the DIS. I was just thinking how everything was going too smoothly! Glancing through the posts I find something about birth certificates! Yep...almost forgot them! And I'm the organized one in the house LOL

Everyone, have a safe trip to the port! I hope to see some fellow DIS'ers on board the Magic!!!!!

Can you believe it is over?? We had a wonderful time...what great weather we had!! I only ended up meeting 2 people from this thread...DCBrown and Daisy at the port on Saturday morning as we waited in line to board the ship. It was nice to meet you. Did you all enjoy it as much as we did??

Hey, did you notice we had a celebrity on our cruise?? Rena Sofer, who used to be on General Hospital and is now on Blind Justice was onboard with us! She is absolutely gorgeous. She is pregnant with her second child and was with her little girl and dh.

The cruise was amazing! We ended up booking another one and are working on getting some other friends and family to go with us. We were able to meet a few people from this thread. My daughter met some of her friends from the kids thread but missed DisneydaveN.Y.'s daughter (we forgot your cabin number).
My daughters didn't spend much time in the kids club, we were busy with so many other things.
I watch General Hospital...too bad I didn't see her.
Now that it's over, it's back to reality....until next time

I was glad that so many of us were able to meet at the Dismeet at Scoops. It was so nice to finally meet all of you.

I think it's so funny that we were right across the hall from Jillie and never saw anyone and yet we ran into djmkgal and/or her husband at least once a day, sometimes more.

We had a fabulous time and hope that all of you did as well. Thanks for participating in this thread, it was great to get excited with a whole group of people.

Jordgubben...I thought the same thing...here we were directly across the hall from each other and we never ran into each other!!
It was a fantastic time but with this being our third DCL (and second straight Western) we are going to try something different next year. We would have done another DCL cruise if it was an Eastern but we already checked and our vacation week falls on the Western itinerary again !

I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet any of you! I did say hi to Jordgrubben...but I didn't get a chance to introduce myself. It was during the first day buffet, I saw you and your DH with all your DIS lime green I had DS with me, over by the desserts and it was crowded.

We also noticed a few of you at the DVC meet. I recognized the names and hometowns LOL

We had a great cruise! DS cried the morning we had to leave...causing me to almost lose it myself! We also rebooked for Dec 06, but Danielle, the CM, told us we could change it to '07 when the dates come out. Next time we want to make sure DD is potty trained and in the club.

Hope to see you all again around the DIS boards!
