Great photos, Molli! I thought the dolphins sounded like fun, but it was so expensive, and with the boys not even wanting to swim with the stingrays, I'm sure the dolphins would have been the same way (I'm thinking now that they weren't even old enough. Can't remember.). Maybe someday we can do that!

I love the flower pictures, too. I neglected to take any on CC. I did notice these beautiful flowers on the tram ride to and from Serenity Bay, but I didn't have time to get the camera out, which is strange because I rode past them four times (we forgot our snorkeling equipment there, so I had to go back for it). They were bright yellow in the center and faded to a beautiful white at the edges. Gorgeous!

Hi everyone - your pictures are AWESOME!! I've been spending this weekend at a scrapbooking crop working on our vacation. I figure that it's still fresh in my mind, so I'm going to keep going on it. The crop is until 3pm again today, so I need to get going so I can finish it. I don't think that'll happen today, but I do have 30 pages finished from Friday & Saturday.:thumbsup2

Molli - great pictures. That one of Taylor on the dophin excursion is great -- better than the ones that they took I'm sure.

Amy -- 30 pages already? You are the woman!!! I picked up my 794 prints from Costco yesterday -- They had to use a huge brown bag. I will be scrapbooking forever and of course I will start on the cruise and forget the four-year backlog of the rest of my pictures.

On my way to Costco yesterday, I was driving in a huge windstorm (yes it was in the 30's here yesterday! ) and the wind blew one of my windows off of the van. I didn't know what it was at first but it fell and shattered all over the street. I guess that I was pretty lucky, because it could have fallen on our front windshield and broken that or even come through and hurt me. Oh well......after the cruise, what is another $500?:rolleyes1

I want to post some photos but I don't want them as big as the last time. Can anyone tell me what do so to make them a little smaller?

Wendy

Hi everyone!!! Fell pretty guilty about not posting since we got back.

So, as far as weight goes and how muched I gained on the ship ... you guys are going to hate me ... I lost 2 pounds. :lmao: I don't know how this is possible. My FIL gained 12 :scared1: . I had 2 visits to Palo (brinch and dinner), every Art of Entertaining they did, more alcohol then I have had in the past 5 years combined, cooked my own Mexican feast, ate more pizza than I should have, had cheesecake for desert every night, and a lot of visits to the Cove Cafe. I did use the stairs a lot, snorkeled for about 2 hours on CC and walked deck 9 more times than I can count, but that shouldn't have compensated for everything else.

I would like to thank the stealthy, ninja-like person(s) who left LGMH and anniversary notes on our door. A nice surprise for us. Someone moved my in-laws door magnet twice to another door, but no one ever touched ours.

I miss running into CyndiBear, OhMom and Val all over the ship. It was fun meeting all of you.

I have to say that I read way to many trip reports before we left and that actually proved to be a good thing. My family was constantly asking me questions about stuff on the ship and I knew the answers or recommended ways to do stuff.

You wouldn't believe how many compliments I have gotten on my fake gold by the inch bracelet I bought at Treasure Ketch. I have also received a lot of comments on my DCL Hawaiian shirt I bought therre as well.

Cool little "Magical" story -

On the last night, my DS7 lost (or dad pulled it :rolleyes1 ) his front tooth that he had been fiddling with all week long. I went down to Mickey's Mates to find a trinket to stick under his pillow. While I was checking out, I mentioned to the CM what it was for. She then whipped out a pad of certificates, a bunch of Sharpies, and some ribbon and filled out this really neat Disney certificate for him from the Tooth Fairy and donated a Dash pin off her lanyard. It made debarkation day a little more happier.

I got my Hard Rock shot glasses from all 3 stops. My collection is now up to 54 glasses from over 30 locations.

A quick comment on the Mexican Cuisine Workshop - if you like drinking alcohol, you'll like the excursion. Food was good and I have made it already at home, but drinking was the focus. It was a mixed crowd of Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Disney,

"Blaze of Glory" was the correct answer i think, we answered the title of the movie instead of the song. remember I kept saying, that's not the song title.......but i couldn't think of it. Young Guns the movie maybe?

Young Guns I and II are a couple of my FAVORITE Movies!!! Being an 80's girl, it was awesome having all those guys in one movie!

Jenni, I know how you were feeling on the cruise. I really wished I could have met you - I really wanted to see that hair!!!!

I get myself all worked up beforehand and then I get these mixed feelings once I'm actually on the vacation and if something doesn't go as planned, I get a little depressed.
It was our 15th wedding anniversary in March and while in Key West, Eddie was supposed to take me to a specific jewelry store so I could get my anniversary present. I spoke with the owner via email about what I wanted, told him when I would be in, and then when we get there, the store was closed:guilty:
I also wanted to pick up some artwork for my new tropical bedroom...When we went to Key West for our honeymoon there were people selling paintings for dirt cheap, beautiful work....When we got off the ship and started looking, all the artwork we saw were in "galleries" and they were selling for hundreds of dollars.....
Then on Grand Cayman our Sting Ray Adventure was cancelled because of the high winds......
There were other things, too....But I really really really felt so relaxed once we returned. It was a great trip!

Molli, those are great photos of the girls! And we saw the guys working on the stack, too...And the pic of all us DIS'ers is great! I thought that Vallen was kissing Wendy, I guess he was!
I don't watch GA......Does anyone watch The Amazing Race? That's my favorite. And I've been watching Desperate Housewives, too. I go back and forth with that show, but lately I've been digging it.
How was that shopping trip, Molli? did you go?
Any new marathon's coming up?
I'm really disappointed I didn't get to spend more time with you guys.
Although I did enjoy our meetings in the Locker Room, Wendy!

Wendy! What a freak accident, huh??? I've never heard of that before!
794 photos?!?! I've got about 600 that I'm going to print up...BTW, what did you do with them ALLL once you got home!?!?!?!
I upload my photos to the free Photobucket. When you get them on there, you can just click one button and it will reduce the size of the photo. The ones in my signature are from photobucket and I just sized them two times smaller than they originally were. Does that help? Did I mention it's free?

I've been lax with the photos...I had one of my finals yesterday morning; I have another next Thursday and then the next Tuesday after that. By mid-May, I'm not going to know what to do with myself once school lets out for the summer.
I know what I'll be doing, I'll be posting all my pictures on here!

Yesterday I went to see my sister and her new baby...Prince Eric. My neice's favorite is Ariel, and right before my sister gave birth, she was just talking to her 3 yo daughter and she didn't know what to name the new baby...Well, of course, Sara said, Name Him Eric like Prince Eric! So my sister said, but I like Brendon (and some other name) I told my sister, I love Eric and she was like, well...... She gives birth and of course, she names him Eric. Her MIL and family are giving her grief because they are mad that she let a 3 yo decide a new baby's name, and they all don't like the name Eric. They wanted something a little more Irish. The funny thing is, the baby looks like a Marrero (my family) with the thick black hair and dark eyes!
A Brendon he definitely would not have been!
And today was Kathy and Mike's daughter's Communion. I ate so much. I told Ed I think I've eaten more in the last week at home than I did on the cruise....
I have to get back into my old eating patterns. I've lost 20 pounds since last fall and I really don't want to gain it back. Now it's back to the grind tomorrow. I'm gonna take a looooong bath and then crawl into bed...

Who was that who scrapped 30 pages already!?! IS THAT YOU AMY:rotfl:

I'm watching the news now and they're showing amateur video of the killer tornados. What a shame:sad2: God Bless them.....

I hope you all have a good week...
Oh, anyone watch my other favorite show, 24? I can't wait to see it, it looks good, as usual!
G'night everyone:goodvibes

Who was that who scrapped 30 pages already!?! IS THAT YOU AMY:rotfl:
Yep, that's me, and after today's session, I finished 42 pages. Now, that being said, they aren't TOTALLY complete because they need journaling and some need a few embellishments. But, essentially, they are done. That's the most that I have scrapbooked in YEARS, and it felt good. I'm hoping to get some more done soon. I'll try to upload some pictures of them soon.

AMY! :rockband: on girl!! 72 pages this weekend!! wow!! i made it through editing my 300 and some pics from my WDW trip in Jan with my Mom and sent those off to Costco -- now i can totally devoted my attention to the cruise pics!! but i'm soooo far behind in scrapping. i'm working on 2003 right now; but i'll put it on hold to finish my WDW trips! :yay: i have LOTS of stuff, have done a few swaps on the board here, etc so i'm ready for action!

i do have a really nice place for our shutters photos -- i'll try and post a picture this week

Wendy -- 794 photos and you don't even have your dolphin swim ones yet!! you will be a busy little cropper! :scared1: I will get your photo CD in the mail this week. and wowser about the van! i have never heard of that happening either!! yikes!! i'm glad it didn't cause an accident for you! that is just NOT right for it to be in the 30s :cold: that can't be normal for May!

Kevin -- i don't know how you did it either but :yay: for losing weight while cruising! it's official -- you must cruise for your better health ::yes::

who's fessin' up to leaving the LGMHs??? and for shame on me for not recognizing that abbreviation!! don't tell Pete he might take away my moderating license :cool2: JK

corryn -- i never got a chance to ask -- what are you going to be when you grow up? you said you were a court reporter but now you are taking A&P classes??

i LOVE keifer and have watched every season of 24. i have to say it's losing it's touch the past couple years, but i keep watching. i thought this season had a powerful intense start, but the suspense seems to be lacking again. i remain a loyal fan though :upsidedow I started out netflixing the season and watching it straight through -- that is THE way to watch it, maybe that's it?

i agree DH is perking back up a bit too -- what's up with Victor Lang?

as for me -- the Vera Bradley sale trip was fantastic!! the selection this year topped the past three years we have gone! do you all like Vera? anyhoo -- i was feeling poor (imagine that!) but i did get some gifts for the coming year and a couple new Hipster purses for myself. got my spoiled children a couple things too

my next 1/2 marathon will be in October -- i'm relaying the Columbus full marathon with a guy from our couples church small group. this month i'm allowing myself to just workout like a normal person, no 'training' so i can focus on some much needed to be done chores around my house that get neglected when I walk 15 miles or so a week, more the month before an event. truth be told --- i've got to kick my butt back in gear and get back into my healthier habits.

well time for me to start my day ----

Good morning everyone!

Cyndi, where are you? Back from vacation yet? ;) If I remember correctly, you guys were hitting the parks after the cruise?

Amy, I am impressed. The only thing I've done is order a printed photo book of some of our favorite shots. It was hard to pick and choose what to include. I've not even begun to scrap yet. Oh, how did Madison like her Boutique treatment? She looks asleep in your sig photo, but I see her hair did get fixed.

Molli, thanks for the emailed pictures. Mark was thrilled with them. He's still talking about how fantastic parasailing was. Oh, and Val, thanks for the stingray ones also. As everyone can tell, Emily was nearly climbing all over me screaming. I had no idea she'd act that way. Normally she loves the water, I don't know what her problem was that day.

Also thanks to the LGMH person for leaving us anniversary wishes. We also got a magnet & magnetic bow for DD's birthday, and I don't know who put that there either! Thankfully all our decor stayed in place. I had marked the signs on the back with our cabin number just in case, but no one ever touched them, thank goodness.

Well, back to work. Can't seem to catch up. Sigh. Talk with you guys later.

And I've been watching Desperate Housewives, too. I go back and forth with that show, but lately I've been digging it.
We started to lose interest in Desperate Housewives around the beginning of the year, but I still have them all on my Tivo (probably at least 10). One of these days, I'll get caught up. Watching them all at once is a GREAT way to do it (right, Molli?). If I had the patience with Grey's, I'd do it...but it's TOO GOOD! We've done that with House last season (ALL of last season's episodes we kept on Tivo until the summer) and we started The Sopranos like that, too.

I've got about 600 that I'm going to print up...BTW, what did you do with them ALLL once you got home!?!?!?!
Show 'em off, baby! :lmao:

you can just click one button and it will reduce the size of the photo.
Maybe I should go do that for the ones I posted! I feel like a page hog taking up that much room!

she let a 3 yo decide a new baby's name
My cousin's oldest son (also around 3 or 4 at the time) named her second one--Thomas (after the train).

i agree DH is perking back up a bit too -- what's up with Victor Lang?
Was Preston a little down in the dumps after vacation? :rotfl2: (It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about, although I don't know that character...YET!)

Val, thanks for the stingray ones also. As everyone can tell, Emily was nearly climbing all over me screaming. I had no idea she'd act that way. Normally she loves the water, I don't know what her problem was that day.
I have more, too. Let me know if you want them. I can post here or email if you want. Just let me know! :thumbsup2 (Same for Amy and Tricia!)

Did I not get a LGMH because I had them already? :lmao: (Thanks, Home Depot! I grabbed a huge stack of them just in case they don't have that color anymore the next time we cruise!) Our door signs stayed on our door, although they did seem to get moved around quite a bit. I don't know if people had thought about taking them or if they just got bumped as people walked by. I was surprised at the number of people that commented on my Huskers magnet. :thumbsup2 (That one I did put my room # on--it was spendy!) I'd like to see photos of other people's doors if you took any. When I get upstairs to the other computer I'll post mine.

Hi Everyone!!

We are finally back! What a wonderful vacation!! Sharing the cruise with you guys was the best. It was so nice to meet and get to know everyone!!

We got back early Sunday AM around 1:30AM. Sunday consisted of laundry, laundry, and more laundry. Still not finished and I was off from work today too.

WDW was very HOT and crowded. Crowded compared to when we usually go in Sept or Jan. We did get dream Fastpasses in AK on Monday. That was neat. It was wierd too. We expected to run into DISers there too. We'd see someone and say hey, that looks like ____ . It was crazy.

I love to see everyone's pictures - thanks for sharing!

Molli and Val--The tequila knocked me for a loop too! I forgot to mention it to you guys when I saw you later in the trip. Val, I don't know how you made it through the beer tasting!! Molli - loved the picture you posted!!

Val--I didn't know your ring was custom made--WOW! That makes it even more beautiful and special!! Way to go Justin!!

Wendi, Molli and Corryn--Thanks for the last night at the pub. It was nice getting to spend sometime with you guys.

Kevin--It seemed like we kept running into you everywhere. That was fun!!

Amy and Amanda--Thanks for the best table buddies possible!! Dinner was so much fun and enjoyable with everyone. The girls were great!!

I haven't even started to attempt anything with our pictures. Amy, I should have given you our stuff to sort through and do something with, you are so creative. We could have picked it up when we are at WDW in Sept. :rotfl:

Eric is having Chris and Mark withdrawls. It was so funny. Amy, we ended up going to EPCOT on Sunday too. Eric wanted to call Chris but I told him to leave you guys alone. :lmao: We're at AK on Monday and Eric's wondering how the guys are doing because they had to go back to work. He was so impressed at how well the DIS helped make our vacation extra special.

I have no clue what's going on on AI. Who's still left? I guess I'll find out tomorrow night. I still have to catch up on Grey's. We did get to watch Housewives so we are okay on that one.

Eric starts his new job tomorrow. He's excited! I go back to work tomorrow too. Yuck!!

It's amazing how much changed in 2 wks. Our grass must have been 2 ft high!!

Well, gotta get to bed early, no more sleeping in.

Cyndi

Amy and Amanda--Thanks for the best table buddies possible!! Dinner was so much fun and enjoyable with everyone. The girls were great!!

Glad you made it home safely!
Lakisha, Jordin, Melinda & Blake are left on Idol. Hopefully they'll all do great & make for an interesting finale. There's your Idol update. :)
We were just talking about you guys, wondering if you'd gotten home OK. Hope Eric likes his new job, and all works out well. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping to get some photos up this week. It's just been craaaaazy since I returned. I've viewed all of them, but need to do a little cropping, or lighting adjustment. Maybe I can get most of it done on Saturday. Mark is supposed to be "helping" the men cook on his side of the family, so we can all have lunch together Sunday afternoon. That should be interesting. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

That does sound mighty interesting!! What is Mark's contribution? Might it be escargot no... I mean mushrooms, no....was it escargot???? :lmao:

Hope you have a wonderful time no matter what it is.

He's NEVER gonna live that down. Ever.

For our other DISers, let me tell the story. One night Chris (Amy's DH) ordered escargot. Mark asked what it was, and Chris said it tastes like buttery mushrooms. Well, that's all Mark heard, was mushrooms. He ate one (maybe two?) Said they were good. Later that night, I told him I didn't know he liked escargot. He looked at me like this  I nearly fell off the bed laughing, as I explained it was NOT mushrooms. He was hesitant about trying other things the rest of the cruise. :rotfl:

It was absolutely hysterical!!! Poor Mark!!!:scared1:

hi everyone...it's been awhile since I've been online:goodvibes
We rec'd some very disturbing news about my husband's health last Friday. I will go into more detail later. All I good think of Friday afternoon when we found out was what a difference a week makes!! On one Friday we are in paradise, and the next Friday we receive crappy medical news. My husband had rebooked while we were on board and I had been questioning the first week at home whether we should really take another big vacation next year. (Since we always do smaller New England trips throughout the year, and we have college coming up in 3 years!) Now I have my answer. Of course we should!!!! We went to Mass General today and they were a bit more upbeat!! We'll know more on Thursday.

Val, I did look at the pictures a few pages back. I then skipped forward. I will read all the pages when I have time. Thanks for taking those pictures they came out great. I took pictures on my digital but I know I have some of you and the stingray on my disposal. I will get it to you when I have them developed.

Corryn glad to hear your still working on your tan. I haven't even had time to apply my self tanner. :lmao:

 OMG! Tricia, be strong and still think positive thoughts! I can't believe we were just having a conversation (in the water at Stingray City, no less) about having our DH's diagnosed with cancer and all the emotions it takes on you. I know you've still got positive thoughts after all the years it's been for him, and I only hope the best for you guys! Please keep us informed on what's going on when you feel ready to share. I hope his cancer hasn't returned. :worried: I'm thinking of you guys!

Hello everyone, so this will be the 3rd message I have tried to post and they seem to not attach to our thread and I don't know where they are going so I'm going to try this small one instead of typing a long message only to have it disappear again.
