Surprisingly, my girls usually go to bed at about 8:30pm, but on the ship, all bets are off. There were days that they were up until 10pm. But, I do try to get them to take a nap during the day, which isn't too tough because they are usually exhausted!!Val my little guy is usually in bed at 600pm/630pm so I think I like your 800pm bed time a little better because at home we usually have to hurry and eat and then off to bed because if he goes to bed too much later he turns into very winey little boy. I signed up for the early dining time and I'm not even sure if he will make it thru that. He also is a "I'm really starving Mommy" kid in the morning so we will probally have to order something to hold him over in the morning while we get ready, too.
Last year when we went to Disney the first night we went out to dinner and we looked over at our DS and he was alseep in his French Fries and Chicken (by the way his favorite meal, I sure hope they have it on board? do they?)

PS-So is everyone getting ready now that we are under the 1 month mark? I still have to find our summer clothes(they are somewhere in the house,we certainly haven't needed them lately)and start deciding what to bring and what I need to buy. I think I better hurry up time is running out.
PSS- I have another question for you guys? Do you work or are some of you SAHMs? I am a SAHM I have been for a around 5 years, some days I wish I worked but most days I'm just fine at home, how about everyone else?
And yes, Cheryl, they do have chicken and fries. I think that my oldest DD lives on them. And, I have a picture of my oldest DD, when we went on our first cruise, asleep with her head on the table at lunch. It was just too cute!!!
I have a cruise packing list around here somewhere that I'll start to check and pick things up like sunscreen, etc. One tip - unless you are SUPER-picky about shampoo & conditioner for yourself, leave them at home. The stuff onboard is H20 stuff and it's really nice. Usually hotel shampoo keeps my hair feeling like straw, but this stuff is great!!! And, remember that our first stop is Key West and if you forget something, there is a CVS pharmacy nearby to pick up anything you may have forgotten.
I became a SAHM not by choice about 3 years ago now. I had a job with AT&T, and I worked at home (which was nice). But, not long after my youngest was born, my entire department was laid off. Since daycare for an infant is SO expensive, we decided to have me stay at home until she was a bit older. She'll be going to preschool full-time next year (8:30-3pm) and my oldest will be in Kindergarten and since it's a private school (we have school choice here that I'm not fond of, so we went private). So, since it costs $$$, I'll be going back to work, at least part-time while they're in school. I'm kinda looking forward to working again, because I'm a lousy housewife, and I told my DH that a LONG time ago. I can't stand to clean, so our house is almost always a disaster.
