April 2021 Cruises Heading Towards Cancellation

hmm...this morning, I went to look to see how many days until our April cruise, and our reservations are not showing in the app or website. Say it isn't so. Noooooooooo! 😳 (btw, we kinda expected it to get cancelled, but were also holding on to a little bit of hope)
I was hoping my June cruise would sail but now realize it's just a matter of time before it's cancelled.

The fact that there are zero cruises available for booking in April says a lot about the probability of April cancellations.

Just got a letter cancelling our April 2021 cruise on the Wonder. The letter states: As we continue to refine our protocols and await further technical guidance from the CDC, we are cancelling Disney Wonder sailings departing through May 12, 2021.

Psy

Woo hoo! I am excited we are cancelled. I am sorry for those of you who had hoped to sail, but I specifically moved my cruise to April to get my original non-refundable deposit hopefully refunded. I want off the merry-go-round to nowhere.

They really wanted me to take that 125% future cruise credit, but I just wanted the money back. I am, for the first time in my life, doing the happy dance because I am not traveling.

I plan to cruise again in the future but only after cruise lines are settled back into some kind of routine and I know what to expect.

We are staying as positive as we can. We have a November 2021 Wonder cruise booked as of today. If the Wonder never comes back to San Diego (West Coast) in 2021 all San Diego cruises will be canceled. As of today I am staying positive but I would say November 2021 San Diego cruises are 50-50% at the best???????? 😜😍😂😎 .... Take Care..... Be Safe.....Stay Well......

Probably less than 50/50. Chances of Alaska are pretty close to zero I think and I don’t think that Disney would send the Wonder over just for San Diego.

@otten Agreed... we've had 3 San Diego cruises cxld now and sure that Oct 2021 will be as well for the reason you stated... hoping to get onboard something in April 2022 I guess

Carnival has recently cancelled all San Diego cruises (Except sailings to Hawaii)... It looks like many cruise lines are trying to regroup all cruises to a limited amount of ports (like Long Beach, Port Canaveral, Miami)...

We are booked on the Wonder out of San Diego this fall and I've lost my optimism that it will sail.

I'm in a similar position, booked concierge a loooong time ago and our finances are such that paying an additional $5000+ now isn't feasible. I'm happy to get my deposit back. Hopefully when things are "back to normal" everyone will travel freely again!
