Does anyone know if something is going on at Disneyland April 21-28 of 2018? I looked at packages and prices were out of this world high.

Or is it just that it's far off, so they always start out really high?

Thanks

We did add 2 days on, but still much higher than I would think it is. This is for a vacation package with an airline.

Is it the airline tickets causing the high prices? If so, are you in a location where the school system does a mid-winter break in Feb and then Spring break in April?

Usually hotel prices are better the further out (not always, but in general).

Dapper Day is April 22... would that be affecting prices?

Instead of a package through an airline, why not book yourself.
You'll be there during DD. Sign up on their site and you can book a DLR hotel through their event.
The block of DD rooms online right now are GCH $289, DLH $254 and PPH $ 209

You can always hope for a discount on rooms but spring time is fairly popular.

Good luck

ok, that may be why.

We aren't planning on staying onsite this time, because we're bringing our kids and their SO's, so will be needing 3 rooms. Even with those great prices, it'll be crazy for 3 rooms.

I am not necessarily going through the airline package - was just checking all different avenues to see what was a better value and this really surprised me to see the high prices for that time.

Thanks for letting me know about Dapper Days. It's something I'd like to go to, but wasn't aware that's when it was.

I recently booked Desert Inn for the same timeframe you are looking at and it was $99 on weeknights. If you already know you want to stay offsite then it is never too early to lock in a refundable rate. You can always cancel if you find a better deal later.

Thanks for the Desert Inn info. I'll check that out.

I re-checked the airline today, by the way, and strangely, prices were down quite a lot. Not sure what was happening there the other day!
