We are going in April. We leave on April 27th which is my daughter's 16th birthday and the reason for the trip. My older daughter was born on NYE and we have gone a few times specifically for her birthday but also happened to be there during her birthday as we usually have to go on their school breaks and it just worked out. We have only taken my younger one once and in the beginning of April never on her actual birthday because it is so close to the end of school and not around any holidays so it was always hard but I promised her for her 16th we would make it happen. So they get out of school early on that Thursday and we are flying down into Burbank. Taking her to the famous Smokehouse restaurant for dinner (next to WB studios) and then our first park day is that Friday. Doing Carthay Circle for her birthday dinner and ordered a cake. Then we will spend Sat and Sunday there and leave monday. Can't wait. We are staying at Desert Inn.

I'm taking my daughter to celebrate her 6th birthday on April 26-29th! We'll be in the parks on the 27-28th. I did the same for my son 3 years ago for his 6th birthday. We're flying in from Houston, Texas, and my Mom will fly in from Phoenix and meet us there (and surprise my daughter). I would much rather do this than plan a birthday party!
I'm starting to get nervous about crowds. I dunno why I picked April. I had read somewhere that the estimate for the week after Easter would be a little less crowded. I'm beginning to think that's not gonna be the case haha. Oh well. It's hard to NOT have a good time in Disney anyway![]()
We will be there that same week and are expecting crowded but Easter is late this year and many of the SoCal schools have break the week before or in March with just a long weekend Fri - Sun for Easter. We arrive on Tuesday so hoping most of the Easter crowds have gone. The good news is that the parks are open late all week!

I ordered my daughter's autograph book today, did her Easter basket shopping, and found a box for it. Now I just have to seal it up and hide it until it's time to ship it. We are getting closer to being ready to go...
I love that The Weather Channel now has the weather posted for our days in the park! Looks nice and warm all of our days.![]()
Got a pin code! So we're moving to the DLH for our last two nights.
I went to modify your listing on the first post and I don't seem to have your dates there!
If you want me to add you to the list, just let me know your dates!
We're at Disney Aorul 22-25, staying one night at the Grand Legacy and then moving to DLH for 2 nights.
We are leaving on Easter Monday and I don't really want to have a ton of chocolate when we get home so instead of an easter egg hunt this year I am doing a treasure hunt with clues and at the end there will be an easter basket with things for our trip. So far I have new earbuds, portable battery, new sunglasses and a new game for his Nintendo DS...and of course a few treats as well!
22 days and counting until we leave!
