This is now a better deal than my backup plan to rent out of their DTD location for $204 in all April 14-21.

I just booked Dollar for April 14-21 (Full Size) for $186 total including taxes and fees. Hoping for a better rate but things seem to be moving in the right direction. I used no codes and chose the city specials.

Finally decided to do Priceline, got a full size with Alamo for 259.00 taxes in. April 10(noon) to April 20(evening). The best we could do other than that was $284., again with Priceline. Air, car and hockey tickets done. Now to find the extras to do.

April is a month away. I do have something booked and check from time to time, but for my reservation, it hasn't dropped in a few weeks, since I first booked. This is not "last minute" yet as far as car rentals go. I think it's great when people post codes that get a better price, but it's too soon to think this is as low as it will go.

Those Dollar rates aren't working for me. I chose City Specials for April 12-20 (noon pickup at the airport) and the best rate I see is $264 for a Ford Focus.

Got the great Dollar deal as i posted previously, but then saw the Alamo deal, went over, modified a previous reservation and now have a full size from Apr 11-18 for $143. Now these are the deals I have seen in prior years - hoping to have it close or under $100. by April vacation!! Thanks everyone...

OK,..How did you MODIFY on Alamo? I as well as MANY others have had issues

After, hoping to drop to around $100, we did September 1st to September 9th with Alamo in a Premium for $98 last year in LA, hoping to get close to that for this year for our 2nd WDW trip.
