I am looking to take a trip mid April of next year. I am hoping that some sort of deal will be offered (free dining, discount on room rates, buy a certain # of nights and get x amount free). How far in advance do they release these deals. My concern is that if I wait too long for something to come out, then I might not get the resort/room I want. But if I book too soon and a special comes out then I miss out on the deal???

If I book now can I adjust the reservation later to get the deal or once I am booked thats it?

When do they release these deals?

In the past, have there been any awesome April discounts?

You are traveling around Easter week. Easter is 4/24/2011.

Most deals will be blacked out for the week before and after Easter. However, for the last 2 years they have blacked them out then opened up the dates less than 45 before the holiday.

If you are planning those week be prepared to pay rack rate and then if a deal comes along call and have it applied.
