April 2010 code watch?!

so it sounds like AP rates are hard to come by now and PIN codes are the way to go? I just signed up for a DVD and will sit tight for a PIN. What other methods have worked?

We have been AP holders since 05/09 and haven't gotten PINS via email.

I am looking to add onto a DVC stay we have booked on points in April 2010.

It is also our 25th anniv. on May 25th!! We have gone the last week of May the past 2 years but it is so hot so we are planning on going April 30th to May 7. This will be our first trip without the kids (who are 20 & 16). This will also be our first stay at a deluxe. Beach Club here we come!!! Congrats on your 25th.

I've did everything in my power to get a pin code I can actually use.
Got the Visa one which ends on March 27th but I want either the
4/3 with $500.00 GC or the 40% off of a Deluxe Resort.

I got a pin code for 30%. 35% and 40% off resorts. I got to change from Family suite at ASM to 2 rooms in French Quarter for less money! My 4-year old is excited that he's now a boat ride away from McD.

I got a pin code for 40% off deluxe but none of the room types/resorts that I wanted were available (and yes, I had several that I would have done!) I was bummed. So I'm hoping for the 4/3 deal

Did you remember to register your AP on the AP holder website? Did you also remember to register it on the disneyworld.com website under "profile"? If you did, then great, you should be set. If not, you need to do this. I do this everytime I get a new pass (renewal) and I get all AP emails and pin offers. We got 4 pin offers just recently tied to being AP holders (both myself and DH) and Daughter and her family. I've been an AP holder since 1995 and I still have to register my AP every year because the number changes everytime I renew.

we will have to downgrade our resort if they do not extend the 4/3 deal for April booked right now at AKL, but will not hesitate to go value without a deal. Come on Disney!!! Guess I have to decide between POP and ASMU.

We will be there 10 nights in April. If the 4/3 deal is extended into that month and we apply it to our reservation, will the deal only count for 7 days and the remaining 3 we will have to pay the rack rate? Anyone know?

We've never been in April (Apr. 14-24), what should we expect crowd-wise and weather wise?

I just went through ********************** that someone else on here recommended.
They have 40% off @ GF, WL, and Poly only. We saved almost $1500 on a six night stay and were able to use it from April 1-7 - - EASTER WEEK!

You can add us to the April pin code watch.
We are already booked for 7 days CBR 2 rooms for 5 of us, so any kind of discount would be huge for us. Multiply it by 2...

I didn't get the 4/3 but I got a 7/5 deal last month email pin code. Valid 4/11-6/3,2010. I booked soon as the 2010 rates were avail. and changed it to the pin code deal. It isn't as good, but is something!! I was hoping something else will come out later down the road to save us more money!!

So I've been hoping for the 4/3 deal for the last week of April and what do I find out???? They've scheduled my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration in Vegas for 4/30 & 5/1. Oh man.... I don't want to miss it but I don't want to miss the ONE WEEK out of the year that me, my husband, and children can enjoy a vacation. It's very frustrating (I love having a big family, but it is a BIG obligation). So I got a pin code via email but wanted the 4/3 deal because it would be a *little* better (but not much, only $100 or $200). So duh, my pin code does not stipulate 7 nights so, I've got a courtesy hold for a 5 night stay instead. We'd fly back home on Thursday and I could fly to Vegas on Friday. I've got 7 days to put my deposit down but I did get 40% off a 1 bedroom villa which is what I wanted. So why am I still agonizing???? I guess I just want more nights at Disney

I'm watching and waiting too. I would like some sort of discount for April 5-11. It is killing me that a Value room is almost $140 a night!
