April 2010 code watch?!

I am hoping for some great discounts. I am going to be very flexible on when we go as I am paying for 9 people. I am taking my 3 children, my dad, stepmom, little brother (10), sister, and her boyfriend.

My dad, stepmom, little brother and sister's boyfriend have never been on a plane or to WDW.

I am very excited but need a good deal because rack rates are going to kill my bank account.

We are looking at the first 2 weeks of May 2010. We stayed on the 4/3 deal last May and it was sweet! I am hoping for it again but would take any deal they want to throw at us.

I absolutely agree. This is the best time of year to go!! I just booked for April 24th-May 2nd!! I am beside myself with excitement. Now if only a fab deal would come along!

We just booked May 10-16 and our travel agent seems pretty sure that something is going to come up in the way of discounts. I am now hoping for the 4/3 so that we could end up adding a night and spending less!

I'm hoping to go in April too!! Depends on what kind of deal I can get....

I didn't pay much attention to codes last year, our trip in November was off-site.

Can someone explain the 4/3 code? Was it--pay for 4 nights, get 3 nights free? Is that the best code Disney offers? For non-dining plan lovers (like myself---too much food and too much sitting down for us) that would sound pretty good!!
Could you add the dining plan to that, or was it for rooms only??

Yes, the 4/3 deal was buy four nights and get 3 nights free, but you also had to buy the tickets which was also 4 day tickets, get 3 days free.
The dining plan was not included in this deal, but can be added. That is what we did.

For us we ended up saving almost $800 last April We stayed 9 nights at the POFQ. So you can see we are hoping for another deal.

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip for May 8th-May 15th for POR. This will be the first trip that we are planning on our own. I'm hoping for some great deals as well!! My question is, can I book a package now and then if a deal comes out switch, or does that only work with room only bookings as I read earlier.
