We are getting excited. We be there at the WL from Apr 15-21. It is something to look forward to during the cold Alaska winter. Glad we booked the trip back in 2007, since the WL is now sold out pretty much during the time we are there....

We are almost 45 days out from our trip. I decided to do one last check for a package with the upgraded hopper passes before paying off the trip. The CM in reservations told me every hotel is fully booked for our dates (23rd to the 27th). The only thing she had to offer was the YC, club level with lagoon view. I am getting a little concerned about the lines at the parks!! We have always gone in early March but had to do a school vaca week this year due to dd workload. We just couldn't pull her out for a whole week this time. Yikes!

I am going April 5-7th with my mom! Staying at Pop - first time on-site in a long time. I am feeling guilty too - not for going on vacation without my kids - but for going to WDW without my kids!!!

We just switched from CSR to Pop. The pool slide will be closed at CSR, so we may as well stay at a value resort. We'll do CSR next time.

I've never been there in April before, but- when we went in December, the same thing happened- there weren't any available rooms during our time period close to our departure, but when we arrived, nothing seemed bogged down- AND, we were able to stay an extra night at POP even though before hand they had claimed to be *full*. It definitely didn't seem full at the hotel- so I wonder if at certain times Disney sets up the illusion of busy just to trick people? Or they don't release all of their rooms until right before the dates?

I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be like December when it was illusioned to be packed, but in reality, it wasn't!

I can confirm that there ARE hairdryers in the POP rooms- we were there in December and I used it every day!

I'll be @ CSR 4/23-27. My brother has a conference nearby, soooooo we're meeting at WDW. Haven't seen him or DSIL since September, so we're really excited to meet up! The only bad thing is that my nieces won't be able to join us. That's a reason to go back!!

I am planning to be at WDW 4/24-4/29 & am chopping at the bit to book already. I am looking at 2 rooms at Pop but haven't decided for sure yet. That's why I have been crazy-reading the resorts board trying to decide where to stay.

If you are going in April, when are you going & when will/did/where you book?

I will be staying at POFQ April 16 to 21 . I booked through AAA last month .Good luck and have a magical vacation!!!!!

we're staying at POP april 9-18...only been planning this since late january so i've been reading these boards, and everything else i can find, like crazy. booked thru AAA. i've read april is supposed to be busy but not peak...hoping this holds true!
either way...gonna have an amazing time!
