April 2, 2011 - 7 Night Western Caribbean

Flying down on Friday and staying at LaQuinta in Cocoa Beach.

I'm so ready for this vacation! :beach:

We also will be flying from Georgia (out of Augusta) and staying the night at the Hyatt...

Is anyone else in the excited and panic mode all at once?? :dance3:

I feel like I can't pack clothes yet, because we are still wearing them. Plus, I'm trying to pack lighter than normal (for me that means no kitchen sink!).

I'm so excited for the trip in less than a week, but I know there's so much to do between now and then. Not to mention, keeping the kids on track with all their normal schoolwork and activities.

We are leaving the Atlanta area on Friday afternoon via car and spending the night in Gainesville. We hope to be at the port mid-morning on Sat.
I started packing today and realize I need another suitcase! I know I'm probably bringing way too many clothes/shoes but I hate to wear the same thing twice and I refuse to do laundry :laundy:on a vacation. Plus, DH and I always like to have a fresh outfit for dinner. Now it's time to squeeze DD's (9) clothes/shoes into her suitcase.

Panic mode here. I guess I should pack this weekend!

I'm right there with ya! Need to do laundry and pack and hope we have enough essentials left to make it through the week.

I started on the FE gifts last night. I have the kiddos done but still need to pickup a few things for the adults.

Ditto, Panic Mode here too, but I do have things laid out in the spare bedroom to pack this weekend. Got the FE gifts out of hiding, had to put them away while our grandsons were over last weekend.

Still have to do some last minute shopping, Mike wants a new shirt and tie for formal night...

I will be packed on Sunday!!!! Working Monday thru Wednesday next week. manicure/pedicure scheduled for Wednesday. Take the fur kid to the vet on Thursday and do any last minute items before we leave on Friday morning!!!

See you real soon!!!! pirate:

Mild panic mode here. I can relate to the packing issues- our weather can't make up it's mind and goes from 80 to 59 back to 80 again...I'd like to be able to pack the kids shorts but I can't tell what the weather will do from day to day!

Still have some last minute stuff to pick up too.

We're flying down Friday night, staying at Country Inn & Suites. We can't wait!!!

Oh yeah, I'm definately in excited:goodvibespanic mode here:scared1:. Luckily I can pack all of our clothes for the trip since we won't need them here until about June:rotfl2:. I've got the kids FE gifts taken care of but the adults are making me scratch my head a little bit. My kids don't have school next week and I think that's going to slow down my progress even more. I have 7 days to get everything pulled together. EEK

I purposely dress my two boys alike each night for dinner just to make things easier (i.e. in matching polos.)

This makes me smile because our boys are NEVER dressed identically unless they choose to wear matching outfits. They are fraternal twins, but most random strangers refuse to believe it.

I am really in panic mode. This weekend is rushing by and it's the last weekend to get anything done before we leave. I guess it's good that it's going so fast. I can't wait!
