One month from today my family heads to Florida for our cruise!!!!!
Ours came in today's mail!!
I'm a little surprised that they are sending them out this early. I don't think we've ever received more than 2 - 3 weeks before a cruise. But..... I am not going to complain!
Us too!!! One month from right now we'll be on our way to the airport!!![]()
CherylA said:We got ours too! Makes it feel so real!
Bryan said he was going to take us to the airport in his parent's Expedition, with working at the airport, Bryan also has a free parking pass!!!
One month from today, we sailaway!!!!!
My goodness you're up early. If you keep these kind of hours on the ship I don't think we'll be bumping into each other too much!!The time change is killing me. I can't get myself out of bed at 7am lately. My kids have been late for school every day this week!
Oh and of course... YAY ONE MORE MONTH!!
LOL!!! I've been up since 4:30 this morning. I'm just one of those morning people, even on the ship I will be up and about "early" in the morning.
Please don't stop by our cabin if you're up that early. I need my beauty sleep you know! Not that it will help!
Our cabin stewards probably don't like us sometimes, because we tend to sleep in.
I'm not bringing my laptop this time, so I don't know what I will be doing in the early morning hours this cruise.![]()
Back when I got up a lot earlier (like a lifetime ago - either I've since learned to enjoy my sleep, or old age is REALLY catching up to me) I used to get coffee and go sit at one of the outside tables and just watch the ocean go by, and occasionally a sunrise.
Slightly humorous story - On my first cruise on the S/S Norway, I was up early one morning, sitting outside at what was the equivalent of Topsiders/BBB (it was called "The Great Outdoor Restaurant"), and having coffee along with only a couple of other gentlemen who were probably in their late 50's. I overheard one of them say "You know, I have no idea what's gone on in the world for the past week", to which the other one replied "I don't either, and you know what - I DON'T CARE!!".
I don't have any idea why I've remembered that all these years, but ever since, it has been my "cruise attitude" as soon as I board any ship.
Hello all! I have recently found out that we (Myself, daughter 13yrs, son 11yrs, and son 9 yrs), will be setting sail on the Disney Wonder April 18th! We are so excited we can hardly contain ourselves. We are looking forward to having a great and memorable time.
It is our first cruise!!! We cannot wait. My youngest DS, was granted a cruise through the MAW foundation. So we are definitely in need of this vacation and look forward to it with open arms. I hope the atmospere and folks aboard are really fun and friendly?!
Thanks for the heads up! I have heard from friends that have been aboard other cruise lines and they have said the same thing. I think it will be neat just getting to explore the ship itself! We have never seen the ocean, so I think that will blow us all away. I read earlier in this thread something about Fish Extenders...what exactly are they? That's great news and I'm sure you all need the time away. The atmosphere on the ship is great - fun and relaxed. Just don't try to do too much, or you'll need another vacation just to rest! This will be our 9th Disney cruise and I'm pretty sure there are quite a few things that we have yet to do.

Hi all! We're coming too! First time on DCL. We can't wait.
I came to these forums looking for info on the room assignment we just found out about. We have a 6GTY reservation and they are now showing we'll be in 7138 - an aft wheelchair room. It looks huge! And the huge deck will be nice (although not the solid railing). But I'm keeping an open mind because we don't need an accessible room and it seems if someone comes forward in the next month and asks for one they might move us - do they do that?
Anyway, we're pretty psyched. See you all in Port Canaveral!
