woohoo, I am so excited. Hubby is already in Lakeland, FL at Sun 'n Fun. And I and the rest of our group leave BC in 3 sleeps. I cannot wait.

My 6 year old niece is traveling with us, she can be somewhat shy or clingy, so I'm hoping that by meeting some others kidlets at the dismeet, that she come out of her shell a little.

I went to the bank yesterday and got our vacation spending $$ and I also started getting all my clothes ready last night that need to be packed into the suitcase Friday night!!!

I "usually" do a live trip report during the cruise, but I decided I am leaving my laptop home this trip and just totally enjoy the cruise and RELAX!!!

DW and I aren't getting much sleep either, but not because of the trip. Her organization at work is going through a major reorganization, and several people she knows have already been laid off. We won't know how this all will affect her until late today, or tomorrow. Whichever way it goes, we REALLY NEED a vacation!!

Andy - you're way ahead of me!! You've already done the things I need to do, plus I need to mow the lawn before we leave. All the rain we've had, plus the winter fertilizer I put down last fall, are combining to try to turn the lawn into a hay field - and it's only mid-April!!

My family leaves on a 6am flight tomorrow morning! We're staying up at the airport tonight. We're doing 3 nights in the World before the cruise. I'm so excited. Just finishing up last minute stuff like making sure I leave my MIL instructions and plenty of food for taking care of the rabbit and trying to put the house in order, I hate to leave it a mess. My MIL will stay at my house while we're away but I hate to leave it for her to clean up! I picked up motion sickness medicine at Walgreens yesterday in case we need it for the cruise. Packed up the suitcases last night. I had really hoped to fit all 4 of our stuff all in one suitcase to cut down on the luggage fees but the weight was killing me. I was too close to the 50lb limit to be comfortable, If I had to squeeze in even one pair of forgotten shoes I would have been over the limit. So now I have one suitcase practically empty! Oh well I'll fill it with souveniers on the way home! I'll see you all on board!

My DD gave me an early birthday present when I came home for lunch. She bought me a new digital camera. My old digital could record video but not with sound, I'm now up to date with video and sound, LOL!!!

I'll be playing with my new toy afterwork today so I can get used to it before the weekend.

Hope everyone mailed in their taxes by today - April 15th you know! Our accountant sent ours in electronically about 2 weeks ago, but no refund check from Uncle Sam yet! We did get our tiny little state refund 3 days after he sent it in - I wish the feds could work that fast!

The Wonder will be leaving Port Canaveral shortly, the next time it arrives back at Port Canaveral will be for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have to work 1/2 day tomorrow, then let the party begin!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my Federal Refund back in 8 days, took a little longer to get my State Refund, that was back in February.

We don't usually wait until the first of April to do our taxes, but this year time just kinda slipped by and then I ended up waiting almost 2 weeks for an appointment with the accountant. Hopefully the refund will be in the pile of mail we pick up at the Post Office after we get back! Maybe I'll remember next year!

I would have done the lawn tomorrow, but we're supposed to have some rain move in tonight, and my lawn tractor REALLY doesn't like trying to bag wet grass!

It is hard to believe it is here! We booked this cruise last June and I didn't think it would ever get here.

I just finished putting "almost" everything into the suitcases, so we must really be close now! With the suitcases out and ready to go, the dog knows something is up, and I'll be taking him to the kennel as soon as DS gets home from school. He pulls me into the place when we get there, then tries to go back out the door! Then he practically drags the poor vet tech down the steps to the runs..... he can not make up his mind!

My DW and DD are fine, our car is dented on the passenger side from the front to back bumpers. I didn't see the other car, but the owner just called and is taking her car to get an estimate for the damage done to her car. My poor DD is so shook up, as she has only had her driver's permit a few weeks.

Very glad to hear Hazel and Angelina are ok!!!

Tell her I know exactly how she feels....... just a couple of months after I got my license I wrecked my mother's brand new car! It wasn't totaled, but the front end had to be completely rebuilt and she was without a car for a month. I was pretty shaken for days, and in pain because I straightened my arms, locked my elbows and took the full impact in my chest and shoulders.

Angelina just asked me a few minutes ago, "Are you going to have a drink(Konk Kooler) when we get to Serenity Bay?" My reply was, "I might ask for a whole pitcher!!!" LOL!!!
