How about it? Any other cruisers for this week after Easter vacation???????

Rae

We are also going the following week. Have a great time!

Our 25th anniversary. A wonderful time will be had!

Macmonster - while I was gone in October, the boards decided to put these notices on another thread, so I will be asking for this one to close.

See you over at the Meet Boards and glad to have you with us!

Phrebert - the ship will be in tip top shape but you can forget about finding any shrimp or orange mango soup.

I was beginning to think we were going to be the only ones on the ship.
We are also cruising April 17. This is our first Disney Cruise.
It's just me, DH, and DD(6).

Would it be okay for me to start a list and plan a DIS meet for this group? It will be our 8th cruise (6th on Magic), and I don't mind keeping the list.

Usually meeting up after the Safety Drill at Promenade Lounge (if you want a quiet fast meet) or on Deck at the Sail Away (loud and long) is best. Having a name tag helps out also.

IF anyone wants to hook up with another family for dining reservations, there is a procedure that one family will contact DCL with the other family's name and reservation number and they will be dining mates for the cruise. Often done and usually well received by both families since friends have already been made, etc.,etc.

Okay, to start the introductions - I'm Rae, 48 year old USAF Veteran/RN turned playwright turned horsewoman and homeschooling Mom, with me on this cruise is my best friend and husband Tom (53, computer technology director/USAF veteran) and our son Michael, age 8.

I'm from upstate New York, Tom is from Detroit and Michael was born in Indiana. We live in a small town and like it - our lives are horses, horses and horses plus traveling!

We have no excursions planned at this time for either St. Maarten or St. Thomas - since we have been there many times before - but are considering Trunk Bay at St. John.

I will do my best to answer any and all questions, but I am no expert at anything so please don't hold my feet to the fire!!!

We will be driving down from Indiana on Easter Weekend, staying near Universal Studios then spending Friday night at Days Inn in Cocoa Beach so we can visit Shirley and Norm (The Perfect Gift - the best place to get your gift baskets and flowers on the ship!).

I've got some Navigators from May 03 (Eastern) that might answer some questions, but then again, things change on the Magic, so it might not be that accurate.

So shall we begin this adventure!!!!

Rae

We are a family of three, myself a stay at home mom, daisy leader to my DD (6) troop, DD (6) in Kindergarten, and DH.
We are in a Cat 5 room, I don't have the room number handy.
We can't wait.

Is this your first cruise, amtmommy?

I always get a little excited at the beginning, then mellow for a while, then it's the big "OH, I have to pack NOW!" stage of panic!

Are you driving or flying down?
