EPCOT/HS Afternoon Plan or After Hours?

I am scheduled to arrive at MCO at 10 AM on a Thursday in February. Staying at the Dolphin Hotel. No kids!

Trying to decide….

An Afternoon/Evening at EPCOT
An Afternoon/Evening at Hollywood Studios
After Hours at Epcot

Thoughts?

10am arrival is probably enough time to get plenty in without having to do After Hours. Assuming you want a full day including rope drop the following day, I would not do After Hours.

As to Epcot vs DHS, that's up to you and which you would prefer and what other parks you are planning on visiting the rest of the trip. Epcot has the best restaurants, if you are interested in dinner. Galaxy's Edge in DHS is cool at night.

We are staying at the BWI next week and expect to arrive the same time of day as you. In the past we've walked to HS for a few hours, then visited EP that night. You may squeeze an attraction or two in that could free up some plans later in your stay.

I was wondering if it would be worth skipping Rope Drop the next day to experience After Hours at Epcot.

One last opportunity to ride Rockin Roller Coaster is a priority! Willing to buy lightning lane to make it happen!

I mostly go to Epcot first on arrival day. Note I said first. #1 I have an AP so I go to Epcot and then hop to whatever park I have reservations for the next day to knock out a ride or two. #2 I drive down from Georgia and usually arrive anywhere from noon to 3 so how much time I spend in Epcot depends on what time I arrived, if a festival is happening and how tired I am. I tend to say in Swan/Dolphin about 80% of my trips and always have at least 5 nights so with 4 1/2 days at minimum I can pretty much do what I want to in all the parks. For some reason, I find from Swan I tend to go to HS first and from Dolphin I tend to go to Epcot first. I walk it 80% of the time, I do take the boat to HS if it's later in the day and I'm tired. I never take it to Epcot. If there is no festival happening at Epcot when you go, I don't think in Feb. it would be too crowded for you to need the extra night hours. So really, just toss a coin between Epcot and HS.
