April 15, 2010 Disney Wonder

I haven't seen any deals on the comfort suites either. DH is getting excited about Atlantis. He's like a kid when the ad comes on :happytv:

We love the Atlantis commercials too! Actually, I told my DH the other night that someday I'd like to take a vacation there. There's so much to do. He said he thought it would be dangerous for him to be in the casinos that long...he's not a tropical beachy person.:)

Well, we got our parasailing booked :) I am assuming that you need to book the boats on the island??? We wanted to book two of the water trikes. We aren't going to be doing an excursion on nassau, everything is just too expensive and we will still be in Orlando for another week.

Well we bit the bullet and signed up for the dolphin encounter at blue lagoon at Nassau(the one without the foot push) and it was about half the cost of the other one, then the feeding the stingrays and rental of the snorkling equip for the day at Castaway cay. I called in to DCL yesterday and unloaded over $900 of our disney rewards to the ship account. I forgot we had those and they will basically pay for all of this stuff and leave us a couple hundred for drinks etc. I get thirsty a lot on vacation lol. ;) We had been saving them points up for a real long time and will finally put them to good use. :goodvibes

Question about the FE Exchange...
1. Do you start the day you board the ship, so it would be Thursday, Friday & Saturday?
2. I assume Sunday would be out, since we need to pack up Saturday night, correct?
3. We just leave something each day?

68 days from the time we leave the ship! But for us our vacation starts in 66 days :)

Hey everyone.... It's been a while since I have posted here... just thought I would put this up with the hope I might catch the attention of a newbie to our cruise meet.....

I STILL have not come across anyone with a daughter my daughters age. She just turned 16 in December. I saw 1 or 2 with boys at or near my youngest daughters age....(6) Well, she is still 5 but will be 6 on March 13th. I saw someone with a 7 yr old girl.... but if she is closer to 8.... there might be quite an age difference, almost 2 yrs as my daughter wont be 6 until right before the cruise. So, once again..... I will just list the ages of my kids so as to possibly catch the attention of someone new to our cruise meet. (Sorry, just repeated myself didn't I?)

Here goes.... Girl just turned 16 in Dec., Boy just turned 14 in Dec., Boy just turned 11 in Dec., (See a pattern here?) Husband needs to stay away from me during the month of March! LOL .... Boy will be 10 next week on Feb. 8th, and last but not least, Girl will be 6 in March. Whew! I really do need to take a cruise don't I?

Looking forward to meeting everyone here on April 15th !!!

Right, just the 3 days. And you only need to do something for one day. Since we've got such a small group, I think it would be nice if we had assigned nights to help spread out the fun. I don't have a preference of nights, so I'll take whatever's left. Anyone have a preference?

Busy week this week. Next week I plan to do a preliminary list and pm it to those who have contacted me.

Ack, I found us on page 4! I just had to post that I am just excited, lol...I've gotten a few things together for the FE Exchange and my dd and I are making a couple things as well:) I hope I do ok, as this is our first FE Exchange!
Anyhow..just felt like dancing a little bit:
:banana::cool1::yay::cheer2::dance3:

Anyone else book excursions for Castaway Cay? I booked the Sting Ray Adventure for our entire family of 7. Also booked the Parasailing Adventure for my husband, son 14, myself, and daughter 16. Shhhh! It's a surprise!

We just booked the parasailing, we will do the snorkeling and boat once we are on the island:)

At Castaway Cay we are doing the stingrays and renting the snorkel equipment for the day. :thumbsup2

54 days!!!

I booked stingrays for the 7 of us also.

Both Grandma's have said they aren't putting their faces/heads in the water to snorkel .. like they don't think my 3 kids are going to already have splashed them into total-frizzy-hair-chaos before we even get to snorkeling!:rolleyes1
