April 15, 2010 Disney Wonder

Guess we all got our documents! Whew Hoo! ..... We live only about 1 and 1/2 hrs from Chicago.... and are leaving on April 14th, surprising our 5 kids with a limo from FL Tours going right to the Radisson at the Port. They have an AWESOME pool with a water fall, Koi Pond and beautiful grounds! Can't wait! :cutie: Looking forward to meeting everyone! Do we have a meet set? I will just throw this out there once again.... Kids ages..... girl 16, boy 14, boy 11, boy 10, girl 6 :grouphug:

Last call for fish extender participants. All are welcome to join! I know as it gets closer to the cruise we'll all be busy, so I'd like to go ahead and get my gifts arranged before crunch time. I'm so excited!

I PMed all confirmed participants a few minutes ago. Let me know if I missed anyone.

I don't have my cruise docs yet. Going to call TA in the morning.

Woohoo less than a month now, wow!! We have two children, boy 9 and girl 12. I think a meet would be fun!

We have a beautiful Daughter age 3(4 in July).:yay:

Headed for the Outlet Mall this weekend to pick up a few things for the cruise.:thumbsup2

Will be in Florida by the 14th of April.

Does someone want to propose a meet time? I'm traveling w/2 other families, so just meeting up with them is going to be a challenge. I wouldn't want to be the one to suggest a time and then not be there myself. I do think a meet would be fun though!

I think it would be fun:) And I would try to make it, no promises.

I think the easiest way to meet would be when we 1st board...go to Parrot Cay(heard it was less crowded to eat). Just an idea.

We just booked! It will be me, my dh, my dd & ds (13, 13). This will be our first Disney cruise:)

Forgive me if I have asked this before..... When will your son turn 14? I ask this because my son was also 13 at the time of your first post here on the meet. His name is Ryan and he just turned 14 yrs old 3 months ago in Dec. (12/27) Aren't you also staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise? I think we may have talked about this before. .... sorry, bad memory.

My son is 14 in August, and we changed from the Radisson to Country inn and Suites. Got the $49 deal on priceline.

3 weeks from today we are setting sail!!! Woohoooo!!!

Everyone here is getting excited. My wife is orginally from NH and we lived in Concord for 5 years. Are you staying at a Disney resort before sailing? We will be at POP the day before and day after.

Does anyone know if the fish extender group will be meeting up anywhere the 1st day of the cruise, just wondering.

We are in the White Mtns :)

We are driving down and staying in Cape Canaveral the night before and then have a condo to stay in after we get off the ship :)

I haven't heard anything about the FE group other that cabins and when everyone is dropping theirs.

We are getting excited too!:cool1:

I'm a little envious of those who are traveling to Florida & doing other vacation stuff while here. I miss that! We used to live in VA and drive down each year but.. I guess we loved it so much that we jumped at a chance to move down here for dh's work.:)

Which buffet for lunch is everyone going to? I heard that the other one is better than Parrot Cay (but wouldn't know seeing how this is my first time on a DCL ship)...Do we all need to go to Home Depot and get our lime green Mickey's?

Yes! Great idea:)

Last time we went to Beach Blanket buffet and it was very crowded with long line(I can't remember what time it was )

Hi Everyone! I spent some time tonight getting my fish extender stuff together and packing a few things. We leave 2 weeks from yesterday!

I hope to get to the port early enough to board as soon as they open the doors. I think we'll eat at Parrot Cay...always read that it's the same food and a more relaxed atmosphere. But with 3 other families along I'm prepared to go with the flow.

TRcruisers suggested meeting at Parrot Cay when we first board. I think that's a great idea. I'll have a lime green Mickey. I've got a lanyard that someone made me for the last cruise. I can't commit though. I just don't know what the others in my group will want to do. I'm 39, long dark hair, kind of short, DH has been told he looks like John Candy. If you spot me, please come say hello!

I still have to get a lime green mickey from Home Depot, if I am able to get one, I'll attach it to my shoulder bag:) We should be there fairly early as well, we are staying in Cape Canaveral the night before and we will go to Parrot Cay as well:)
