Just wondering if there is an easier way to find this thread rather than having to scroll through pages each time? :confused3

I have this page favorited (bookmarked). If you look at the top of the webpage (at least for me) there is a pulldown titled favorites, you can then add this URL to your favorites.

You could also write down the web address and then just type it in.

Or you could go to the cruise meets page and click on search this forum. I fould this thread by searching 4-14-07 I think...

Hope this was helpful!

:sunny: I know this! Let me share:

Go up to "Thread Tools" and subscribe to this thread.

Then when you first enter the forum, you can go to "Quick Links" which is up there too on the right and go to 'subscribed threads'.

I do that every time I enter the forum to see if there is anything new on our thread! :grouphug:

Everyone on the DIS is so helpful...Thank you! :wave2:

Haven't been able to check in for a while, we put on an addition this past year and it made the rest of my house look old: so I've been painting like a fiend in every spare minute!

Hannahmom: What a truely small world!! Never thought I would run into a fellow East Longmeadower on the DIS. PM me if you would like to get together to discuss the cruise.

Disneyfanatic3166: Great website!! I will add to it when i can spend more than just a few minutes.

Does any one know when our window for pre booking Palo's opens up? I had better get busy paying off the balance so we don't miss Palo brunch- we had dinner there on our 4 night but have read on the DIS that brunch is even better!! I guess I should also work on losing a few more pounds so I'll have room to grow on the cruise. Tyna

I have down:
12/30/2006 for all guest with suites and Romance Pkg (105 days out)
01/14/2007 for all Castaway Club members (90 days out)
01/29/2007 for All guest (75 days out)

Rembember it usually opens up at 3:00 AM eastern time and you must be paid in full.

I waited until the morning for our up coming Thanksgiving Wonder and had no problems. I will probably get up for this one. I fact Palo is still showing available now - maybe because of Thanksgiving.

:sunny: Thanks for that rundown Yogibigdog! (Is Yogi a Newfoundland by any chance? That would be big!)

I was going to wait 'til the due date to pay up-Jan. 19th. My birthday! But now I have a great reason to pay around the tenth or eleventh. Or maybe even earlier çause I bet it takes a few days to show paid on the computer.

I noticed on a certain website that deals almost exclusively with Disney Cruises but whose name gets blocked lately from posts, that prices for our cruise have risen. (They lay out the prices in chart form.) It looks like 12, 11,10 are filling up! :flower2:

No, Yogi was a very fluffy Keeshound. He love to eat so we use to call him the big dog. He passed away several years ago but I liked the name.

Yes, I think it is a big incentive to pay early if your a castaway club member. Those few extra days can make a difference on getting the reservations you want.
Going spend the rest of the day getting things together for the Thanksgiving Wonder.

Any luck with airline tickets yet?

I am surprising my wife and son (3) with this cruise for Christmas. Actually, I am planning our trip with a couple my wife and I met on our honeymoon almost 8 years ago. They live in Bend, OR and have two boys (3 & 6).

Any cruise tips or suggestions for our trip are greatly appreciated!

I have lots of tips. Plus I am going on the Wonder next week so I will be looking for some new ones. When I have a chance I will post some. Wanted to welcome you to the cruise. I know it is going to be a lot of fun.

Just booked!

Gosh! It went so fast! Providence's cheap flights were already booked up so fast for April 11, 12,13!!!!! I went to the computer right when it dinged too!

I ended up booking for April 10th late at night and coming back the 24th early.

54.88 one way for each of us- 548.40 total round trip for all four!

Not sure where we are going to spend the extra night.

Oh My Gosh is right! What a stressful morning booking Southwest flights from Manchester, NH to Orlando. All inexpensive flights were gone within minutes after the "Ding". All Non-stop flights were gone instantly for April 13th and April 22. We are now booked for April 12th and coming home April 23rd. I paid a big $ for only 3 tickets. Ugh! Now we need to decide where to stay 2 days prior to the cruise. I hope everyone that was waiting got their flights today.

Remember you can always rebook for free if prices drop on your flights! Or if you get a DING in the same flight that's lower.

I panicked and didn't remember that! :guilty: Not that I mind being there earlier. I just don't know where we'd stay! That week is April vacation for everyone else!

I'm hoping the prices drop....I'd even take a credit towards another flight.
I suppose I should just be thankful that I was even able to get a flight since everything booked so fast. After re-reading my previous post...I booked my return flight for Sunday 22nd not the 23rd.

I'm not sure if we should attempt going to a park prior to the cruise since we'll be there early Thursday April 12th and all day Friday. We've never been to WDW during April so I'm not sure how crowded the parks will be. We typically take my son out of school and go to WDW in September. No crowds and value season. Booking flights today for April was a real sticker shock. We were also considering staying at Ron Jon's Resort.

Just curious and looking for suggestions what to do pre-cruise? I suppose this question would be for repeat cruisers. We are arriving in Orlando at 9:30am Thursday, April 12th prior to the cruise. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going to a WDW park (how bad are the crowds in April), stay in Orlando for 2 nights then head to the ship Saturday morning. Or, stay in Cocoa Beach for 2 nights and not feel rushed getting to the ship on Saturday morning? :confused3

Has anyone stayed at Ron Jon's? There are so many mixed reviews for this place. I thought my son (8) would enjoy the amenities there.

not for me but our freinds coming from Portland. I checked yesterday and could only book into early March.

They were able to get 4 round trips from Portland for $900 bucks. Any other airlines would have run at least $1600-$2000. Thanks for the info.

Brad

PS They'll be purchasing the first couple days worth of beverages!

I am glad you guys got your reservations. I was at a meeting all day in NYC and someone got dinged about the schedule opening up. All I could do was think of you guys hoping that you knew about it.
I don't think the even offer the lowest fares during vacations. I have been on within minutes and at least the lowest three cat's are already unavailable on all flights.

I have stayed a Ron Jon's resort. The kids had a lot of fun. As long a you are have enough time to enjoy the pools and slides it might be worth the price.

Mostly it is NY and Massachusetts. NH has a different week and most of the rest have a spring break in March I believe. Last I check most of the resort at Disney had availability.
There is always the new Residence Inn, Country Inn and Suites near the port. The Country Inn has bunk beds. Or you could try the Radisson or Ron Jon's.

I stayed at the New Omni in Orlando over the summer that was great! It has a lazy river and a water slide for half the price of Ron Jon's. Only problem it is a further from the port.
Hope I am making sense was up for 22 hours yesterday for my trip to NYC. We flew through that bad storm last night. I give the pilot and the crew a lot of credit. I hope I have nice weather for my flight next week for the Thanksgiving cruise. I wouldn't want my kids go on a flight like I had last night!
