April 13, 2008 (4/13/2008) Anyone else?

I was sjust reading back on the thread and you said you are probably doing a few days at WDW do you know which ones and where your staying yet?

we are staying for 3 days at the Swan after the cruise
I can't wait we have done WDW a few times
never a cruise and this will be our first onsite WDW stay we normally rent
a pool home

Wow, can't be that early for the cruise to have so few people going, but we may all be in for great upgrades! In any event I'm sure we are all in for a great time! I'm staying at AKV for three nights after the cruise. I have never stayed at the Swan, but we did enjoy the Dolphin a few years back. The pool area is very nice. Many rooms overlook the boardwalk and you can get a great PM view of Illuminations as well--Epcot lit up at night is a magnificent sight.

I paid off our cruise so that I could book my Palo and Spa ressies on 12/30 since we have the REAS package. I received a packet in the mail with a letter reminding me of the 12/30 date and how the cruise will be here before you know it. It had a booklet with tips (although this board has given me all of them and then some) that revved up my excitement for this trip. My husband surprised me and told me to make reservations for after the cruise and we will be staying a few days at Wilderness Lodge. I can't wait!!!

First time cruisers:banana: many times DW visitors. Myself, DW, DD 14, DS 10, DD 8. Four days on cruise followed by three days at Boardwalk Villas!

looks like a bunch of us our following our cruise with a few days at WDW:goodvibes

I am so ready to start planning and booking excursions but I still have a LONG wait.

I can't book anything until Jan 29:guilty:

Just getting all my ideas lined up for the booking dates. I can't do anything until January 29th either, but at least I have an idea of what I want. The three nights at WDW are all set as well. It really won't be all that long now!

Joining into this thread! Kaylajr and I have gotten to know each other on the boards and to be good friends and coordinated this vacation so we could meet for the first time! :cool1: If you see 2 women screaming like banshees and running towards each other in the Terminal get out of the way! :lmao: But we also look forward to meeting other DISers.

This will be our first cruise, me, DH and DD 12 and DD 8. They would love to get to know some of the other kids they will meet on the boat.

I am going to be at WDW before the cruise. Right now we are at All Star Music but hoping to get into Movies.

I booked the REAS package as we are taking our first Disney cruise for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our window opens tomorrow. I hope I can stay awake tonight!!

We are traveling with our daughters 8 and 6. They can't wait to make new friends on the ship. We have Wilderness Lodge booked for after the cruise.

This trip cannot come soon enough!!

We were able to get dinner on Sunday night and brunch on our sea day. I feel like I can finally relax.

So glad it all worked well for you!

Lovetoscrap--my DD is 12 as well and would love to "get aquainted" before the vacation, feel free to use the PM feature and I'll have her respond.

Yesterday was DH's birthday--the even we will be celebrating withthe APril Cruise. He officially found out about it with a Tommy Bahama type shirt with a scrap booked ticket in the pocket. He is pretty excited and so are the kids. I have to make my final payment sometime this week--most likely tomorrow! It is seeming more real to me now. :woohoo:

Kayla and I are going to try to get brunch booked also. We may have to wait until we get on board if it is all booked when our window opens.

Patsal, I will let my daughter know and maybe she can PM your daughter this weekend.

Were going on the disney wonder as well April 13-17 then off to our DVC at SSR till the following Monday, myself, hubby and our two girls ages 7 and 4, they are soooooo excited about going on the cruise , as going to disney afterwards as well, we usually go to Disneyworld 2 to 3 times a year so this is a first for us cruisin on the DCL..Oh can't wait...!!!!

My DH and I are going on this cruise too! I am so excited. We have been on 1 other Disney Cruise in 2003 with my parents and loved it! We just got our own DVC membership (we've been using my parents points for years) and used our pts for this cruise. Any other twenty something couples with no kids going?::MinnieMo

Looks like we are getting a nice little crowd! I'm so anxious for midnight on the 28th/29th. I've picked out all the excursions and watching it snow I can't wait for warmer weather!

I am getting so excited :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Do you all have your excursions picked out? What are you planning to do? Anyone trying to do Palo? We want to do a Gals Only Brunch.

Patsal, I totaly forgot to have my daughter send a PM. She ended up losing her computer privleges and it slipped my mind. We are going to the movies tomorrow but I will see if she can get time to do it in the next day or so.

I think We're gonna do the Blackbeards Stingray Adventure excursion with the girls at nassau I'd do it at Castaway Cay but my 4 year old would not be old enough to do it there ....I looked into the Dolphin Excursion but its soooo Expensive and seems like you don't get that much time with the dolphins.....I know we've fed and got our pics with the dolphin at Sea world and it was no where the price of the Excursion......It'll be here soon though....We can't , wait I keep going on you tube and seeing different vids and pics....I know I'm gonna be a picture taking nut!!!:woohoo:
