I found it and it was a great article! Exactly the experience we are hoping for!

Took the last DD shopping yesterday! So glad to be done with that! And I found great deals @ TJ Maxx for me! Got bathing suits and a formal dress (the little black dress) for $25 each! Not sure what night I will wear it but I was thrilled with the price.

We watched the DCL planning DVD last night. My DS15 actually asked to watch it with me ! I can't tell you how shocked but happy I was. Then when DS10 heard it playing he actually gave up his video game to watch it with us.
Take 2 DS +1 Disney Crazy Mom + 1 sofa + snacks + DCL Planning DVD = PERFECT NIGHT

We watched the DCL planning DVD last night. My DS15 actually asked to watch it with me ! I can't tell you how shocked but happy I was. Then when DS10 heard it playing he actually gave up his video game to watch it with us.
Take 2 DS + 1 couch + snacks + DCL Planning DVD = PERFECT NIGHT

I wish I had that dvd!!!!!

Grumpymom - I've seen some of the questions you've posted. I am going to try to get brunch ressies once we get on board too. I'll see you at Rockin D! My friends have a party of three going on Sunday, so I am going to see if I can be a fourth in their party. My DH could care less if he goes.

Speaking of DH, he is doing the certified scuba excursion at St. Thomas. Is anyone else doing that excursion?

That review was well worth reading. I want that DVD too! How lucky you were to have a nice little sit down with a movie and family time, preparing for the best cruise of all time! We still went looking yesterday for pirate stuff DD (14) can't figure out what she wants. We will see if we can find anything. Still found plenty of clothes for both DD. So exited! @ weeks from now we will be happily enjoying our vacation!

OMG, I can't believe we are LESS than two weeks away. I was so ready to have all next weekend to get packed up, but of course it has been raining here for 10 days straight and all my daughters' soccer games have been cancelled for two weeks. I bet we end up having five of them this coming weekend. Plus I have to get hair cuts for the DD6 and I have to get a pedicure before I start to show my toes.

Thanks so much for pointing to the packing list and the article on the recent trip. It gives me so much to look forward to. So are we still meeting in the port or on the boat or both on Saturday?

I wonder what the first drink of the day will be. Something fruity and relaxing I bet. Can't wait!!!!!

We are still planning on meeting at the port at 11 at the Magic replica facing the big ears entrance. I dont know if anyone has also coordinated an onboard meet. The first drink of the day will be the bon-voyage! It always is. It's really good. It's a frozen drink, half pina colada swirled with hlaf strawberry daquari I think.

I had said something about a second meet for those who are going to be boarding later. I read that lots of folks meet in the Promenade Lounge on deck 3 (midship to aft). I hope we will all be able to meet each other but if not, does anyone have an idea of how to recognize each other? (If you want to be recognized?!!!) Some dis'ers wear a lime green silicone wristband. I tried to order some last week, but I couldn't believe how ridiculously expensive they were. Anyway, my kids get those things for parties so I was going to look around and see if I could find one. Also, I thought about making a little pin to put on my lanyard. I could print something out and tape/glue it to a little pin I already have. It would be a bummer if we are sitting together at the pool and not even know it.

What about the paint chips from Home Depot? They are in the paint section and it is the Home Depot line of Disney branded colors in the shape of Mickey heads. There is one that is a lime green color. You can cut them out and pin them on a shirt or bag - maybe a lanyard although it might be big. Last time, I just cut it out, punched a hole in it and tagged it on my bag. I can't remember what I used -- maybe a rubber band or a piece of ribbon.

I definitely want to meet everyone, so we need some kind of signal!

Grumpymom73 - DS and I watched the planning DVD **twice** this weekend! He cracks me up - he loves the "ship's tour" part. He'll be able to guide US around as much as he's been watching it!

PPQFP - I love the paint chip idea, even if it's just to tag my bags! Guess where I'm heading after my afternoon meeting today

Anyone need a fish extender? I have an extra one. My mom accidentally made it twice as wide as it needed to be - so she fixed it by cutting it in half. Voila - two fish extenders! It is Lightning McQueen themed. Let me know if you're interested and I'll bring it.

Edited to add: I will try to figure out how to post pictures of the extender as well <blushing>

I would love to plan an onboard meet. We don't fly into Orlando until 11:30 so I definitely won't be able to meet up with you at 11 and would really love to meet everyone. If I am the only one who can't make the meet I understand if you don't want to give up more time later in the day. Be honest.....do you want to plan another meet? I can just look for "paint tags" if you don't.

So in true crazy Buffalo weather we went from a gorgious sunshine, warm day Saturday to it snowing today!!! Yes I said snow.....I definitely am ready to leave!!!!! Bring on the DOTD!

As Kelli said, lime green is the color of Dis'ers (not sure why, though). I want to run up to Home Depot now before PPFQP gets all the lime green chips!!! Just kidding! I am going to get a few more colors to make a few magnets for our door. I might have to buy some of the paint out of guilt!

Ohh no people have snow?! California doesnt have any around our parts. It's been shorts and tanktop weather! It's preparing us for the cruise! Cant wait to see you all!
