Just back from the fastest moving 10 days ever! Day one and two were spent at the POFQ, beautiful and well kept, but judging from the lumps in the beds, new furnishings will be a nice touch when they re-open. We arrived at 4 pm and our room was ready. we got settled and met up with my parents who had already been there for 6 days. once the kids greeted them we went over to Jungle Jim's for dinner and picked up a few groceries and some wine at Goodings. THe kids settled in and went for aquick swim. Saturday morning we went to MK and spent the enitre day there (spectro and fireworks). Although I have seent he fireworks at MK many times, I have never spotted Tinkerbelle before this trip. Yippie, I finally saw her. Days three-10 were spent at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. Practically perfect as always. When we checked in the room assigned to us was not ready, but there was one on the first floor that was. We took a peek at it and found it to meet our expectations so we took it. DH and I went over and checked in while the kids had breakfast with my parents, we picked them up at POFQ and took them to the Villas at WL. I still don't think they were prepared for the type of accomadations we had! The look on their faces was priceless. I'm sure they enjoyed every minute of the stay. Prior to this visit we have only stayed in studios. I believe we are going to need more points--having that washer and dryer int he room is really a plus! My next mission is to see how many more points I will need to always stay in a one bedroom. I dropped a few subtle hints to DH! We spent a little time in each of the parks, but really needed a little more time for Epcot. We did not use the water parks at all this trip. DH and I took my parents to the Adventurers Club one evening while the kids stayed at the Peter Pan Club. They really didn't know what to expect, but they had a really good time. My dad didn't stop laughing the whole time. It was nice to do something "adult" with them. I will leave a detailed report on our dining within the next few days. If you have any questions fire away!
