April 10, 2012 5 Night Bahamas Double Dip

Yea I love living close to WDW...and not only WDW but Seaworld/Busch Gardens...and soon to be LEGOLAND...I'm a theme park junky...with of course WDW being my favorite place..

my kids babysitter told me today she was trying to teach my son like my full name and address etc etc..and she asked him MIguel, where do you live? and guess what he said: :rotfl2:

MAGIC KINGDOM. :wizard:

and Welcome Chris...should I add your family to the FE/SE list?

Ok FE/SE is updated...I put in alphabetical order for now...once we get closer..I'll group the names according to Decks. and I'll let everyone know how many toddlers/kids/tweens/teens/young adults/adults are in the group.

Thanks so much for updating! However, my party is listed in 2 separate areas of the chart! I will be sailing with my DH Eugene, DS Nathaniel (10) and DD Genavieve (6). :)

Does anyone have older teen girls they are traveling with? My DD will be 18 when we go.

Anyone have experience rebooking on board? Thinking about doing this for 2013.

Linda

Yes, please add us to the FE list for now... I just found out there is a slight chance we might have reschedule, so that might change :sad2:

I have rebooked onboard many times, and sometimes I just book a dummy date and change it when the booking I want opens or when I know what I can do.

so i know this is still early to be posting this but I wanted to throw it out there...

I want to eat at Remy. and obviously I would have to do it by myself. So what I was wondering if any of you are going to be eating at Remy by yourself as well..if so then I can request the same day so we can eat at same table.

just a thought..as I don't mind dining alone..but this seems like something I don't want to rush through and if I'm by myself I will eat fast. lol :confused3

@ Chris, I added you to the list..hopefully you can stay on board with this cruise.

:yay:I'm Strega7's mom. This is my first post. My daughter made me sign up for this. We too are very excited about our cruise next year. We've been on other Disney cruises but this will be the first time that we've participated in the FE. My DH and I have both begun making gifts for the FE'ders.

:thumbsup2 good job mom! you are a regular techie now. It will be fun to have your excitement added to our cruise meet thread.

@MommaMouse on the FE list Amma-n-Adda and us are listed on the same line, but we will actually be in two different cabins. Not sure if that makes a big difference or not, but both cabins will be participating in the FE

@ Strega, I added her userid...once we get closer to the end of the year, we'll need cabin #s.

Booked flights today-not too bad-$208 each from Hartford to MCO.Direct flight too.Considering it is Easter week and spring break.

Hope everyone is getting excited.

Oh man - I am so jealous. $208 flights! I am saving up airline miles for our flights for Sea-MCO - I think I am about halfway there - It will be 45K miles for each ticket!

I am so jealous if that $208 rate, too!! I checked Delta...from NY/JFK it's $860 per ticket right now!!!! I'm planning in driving if prices stay this high.

Which airline and what travel dates for $208? Might be worth looking into...

Thanks!!!

I also booked airline tickets this weekend...OUCH! I was going to wait to see if prices go down, but we live in a remote area with one airline flying in and out, so chances are, they would only go up. They were also cheaper to fly out of here than getting them out of SFO which is a six hour drive for us. We ended spending $476 per ticket, not great, but I could live with it, so I went for it.

It looks as if we will be able to go (I am part of a team implementing a new enterprise wide software and the go live date got pushed back to 4/1, but the project manager said me leaving a few days afterward would not be a problem) so put us down for the FE exchange please :yay:

Just booked my airline tickets last night, $320 pp JFK to MCO, leaving on 4/4 and returning 4/15. Very excited as this is the first year since the early 90s I will not be at WDW.

That's a great rate for that week! Unfortunately I need to wait until the day before Easter to fly out, and from JFK or LGA, flights are over $850 PER PERSON!!! Not sure if I should wait it out or book tix from Hartford...

geez I'm so glad I'm going out of port canaveral and don't have to worry about flights!!

I'm going to have to start saving money now if I book my Alaskan or Hawaiin Cruise for 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
